“I have taken my vehicle to John's Automotive twice now and thought it time to write a review. I generally look for three factors when taking my vehicle to an auto repair shop; 1) Honesty, 2) Knowledge, and 3) Speed of Service. John's Automotive excels in all three aspects. Sometime visiting a shop for the first time you get a little nervous not really knowing what level of service you are really going to receive. From the start I felt they sincerely wanted to help me with my vehicle issues, especially given I own a 15+ year old suv with over 320K miles. After dropping it off and explaining the problem, I got a phone call later that day as they identified the root cause and explained how to fix it. They were clear detailing what the cost would be and were quick finishing the work. This second time, given my vehicle's age, I was bracing for bad news and a costly repair. They went through it thoroughly and figured out it was a couple straightforward issues that were fixed easily and inexpensively. It can be difficult at times to find a business that you can really trust and does high quality work and I’m quite happy that I found that and more.Services: General repairs & maintenance”

“We wanted the thank William Boyd the store manager for all the help he and his crew provided in a very stressful time!!! We were on our way to Memorial Sloan Kettering to an appointment for my recently diagnosed cancer. We were about a half an hour from the medical center and I noticed the air pressure dropping in our left rear tire. We pulled into their parking lot with only 8 lbs of pressure and no significant time to deal with the flat without missing our appointment. William and his crew rolled the car right in and searched their inventory for a replacement, but to no avail and no guarantee of getting one in time for us to return home in the next two days. We decided to put on the spare (donut) so we could get to my appointment. I was able to find 2 new matching tires at the local Mercedes dealer after my appointment and then showed up at 8:00 AM the next morning with two more appointments that day, and they mounted and balanced the tires and got us on the road in record time. We want to say that this is a great place to go, the people are nice and hard working, William is a GREAT manager and has a great crew!!! And we will be forever grateful for what they did for us!!!Thank you William Boyd, you ROCK!!!”

“I found out the hard way that not every Firestone is the same but I've never had any problems in Edison. Every time I've been there they were nice, they fixed what needed to be fixed and all with in a very reasonable amount of time. The only thing I'd recommend is getting some blinds or something for the waiting area to block the sun. Other then that I have not had any problems with the service at all, they're not the closest store to me but I will continue bringing my vehicles to Edison.”

“Had to order online and wait 2.5 weeks for installation. They seem a little short staffed so they don't answer the phone and getting answes in person can take upwards of 20-30 mins. The process to purchase and make the appointment was smooth and easy, they have a good tire selection, the workers are friendly and easy to work with and my car was finished within the quoted time frame. They have a 5 year warranty which is great!”

Mukesh answered the phone, helped me check for my tires and found out a sticker was missing on one of the tires. Tire shop guys are professional. Be in for a wait as this shop is busy and the guys get the job done right. Testing out tires after they are done.”
