My tires already had 70,000 miles on them. The Mavis team explained the wear and tear on my tires including needing new struts on the rear of the car. Overall, I found the folks I worked with to be helpful and straightforward. I was able to leave same day with my new tires and to get home safely.”

My family and I were passing through New Jersey on our way home to Canada when our car seemed to be having some issues. We were worried about the cost of potential repairs, but we were so greatly blessed. Jonathan (owner of this autoshop) told us a story of a similar situation he faced a long time ago when he was travelling. Due to his empathy and generosity, he spent hours on our car giving it a very thorough inspection, but didn't charge a single cent. He is clearly very experienced in autoservices, so it was already great that we got him to check everything through, but on top of that he gave us a free inspection. “I can’t say enough good things about F & S Paul and his team.

I got a flat tire halfway through my road trip, so I stopped in expecting to be turned away since they mainly work on truck tires, and another tire shop had told me I’d be waiting a long time. As soon as Paul heard that, he said, “Forget that—pull around back.”

Within minutes, his crew had my lowered BMW safely jacked up, removed the wheels, and Paul had already ordered two new tires. He even sent one of his guys to pick them up so they could get me back on the road. From the time I pulled in, everything was happening immediately, and they had me taken care of in about 45 minutes.

What really stood out wasn’t just the speed—it was the willingness to help someone they didn’t have to help. They treated me with kindness, professionalism, and genuine care, even though my car isn’t what they normally work on. Every guy in that shop was working hard, and they handled my lowered BMW with respect and attention to detail.

“My Mustang water pump went out on my way to work which I still didn’t know of yet. Let car cool down and made my way to the shop thinking I’d just need some coolant. They quickly diagnosed it was the water pump which was steaming and even offered to replace it right then and there. “Picked up a large piece of shrapnel in a tire on the highway by here and didn’t notice. Found myself with a nearly 3” gash, tire bubbles, and a flat tire in no time. Pumped it to 15 and took it here as this was the closest place with decent reviews.

“Last week I had an issue with my car and it was late afternoon I called around and Firestone said that they would help me out if I could get there soon and I really appreciated that, when no one else was available they came through. Nate was the one who was at the front desk and was very pleasant to talk to and kept me informed the whole time about my SUV. Joe was the mechanic who thoroughly examined my vehicle for any issues that might have been present, which I appreciated. Ended up that there was nothing wrong with my vehicle so that made me happy. Nate was very sweet he didn’t even charge me, I was grateful for them all the way around. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle serviced ?”

“Whiners with 3 stars or less has 0 experience working on cars and expect a amazon prime style dealership experience. Techs have to deal with rust, messy interiors and annoying customers who want to play main character. I bring all my vehicles here for new tires and all my batteries are interstate. I had new rims installed here and they did a fantastic job in keeping it scratch free. If you plan to get new tires installed or tire rotation, schedule online, leave the keys early morning with them on your day off, get a uber home to relax and let the techs do their job. At most it took them under 3 hours and that is pretty good knowing how busy it gets.”

Came in for a tire replacement without an appointment and was pleasantly surprised by how smooth the whole experience was. Doug at the counter was incredibly helpful — he handled the walk-in efficiently, explained everything clearly, and even threw in some useful tips along the way. That kind of no-fuss, knowledgeable service is exactly what you want when you’re not planning ahead.
Pricing is very reasonable, especially for tire work and oil changes — hard to beat for the quality of service you get.
One heads-up for first-timers: the car entrance for the Auto Care Center is a little tricky to find. You’ll want to drive past the Garden Center entrance, then turn left — once you know it, it’s easy, but it threw us off initially.
Overall a solid, trustworthy spot for routine auto maintenance. Will definitely be back!”
