The Hungry Puppy
1288 NJ-33, FarmingdaleSuch a great family-owned business! Once I realized that they carried the dog food that we use, I started to order here to support a local business. The bonus is that it's priced the same as the bigger chain store I had been going to. Even if it was higher, I have seen that the family gives back to the community and helps those in need. With 5 dogs (2 giant breed, 1 large breed, and 2 small/med) it is so convenient to order delivery every 2-3 weeks. They are so sweet and send some extra little bones with the order. Last order I received was packed by students, so it is nice to see that they are also teaching the younger generation some hands-on learning! Staff is so nice and helpful! I definitely have to take a ride there with a pup or 2 to visit!

Woody's Roadside Tavern
105 Academy Street, FarmingdaleWe had a fantastic evening at Woody’s! My husband and I went for trivia on a Tuesday night. Everything was exceptional, and we had the best time! The food was delish (I had the turkey club, and he had the chicken panini), and they had a great happy hour. I loved all the Halloween decor and trivia was so well run! The service was excellent, and everyone was so kind. 5 stars overall for food, atmosphere, service, and vibes! So glad we discovered this neighborhood gem - we will be back!
