4322 US-9, HowellI really love Posh Pooch for my Shorky, Pucca. My dog has been a client there for a few years now. Pucca is not the easiest to handle during a groom, but they are the only ones that have been able to without stressing her out so much. I have observed that they treat the dogs kindly, which calms my nerves. They also listen well to what clients ask for and modify their service to fit the clients’ needs. I really love and appreciate that. There aren’t many grooming places that do that for you. For example, they are the only grooming place that allowed me to just have the hair cut portion of the groom for my dog. I like to do the bath myself to reduce stress on her and they totally didn’t mind. All other places I had called wouldn’t allow that. The staff are all very friendly and easy to talk to and do a fabulous job! Highly recommend :)

Doggie Dream Salon
3712 US-9, HowellI hace been meaning to write this review for a long time. Doggy Dream Salon used to be not so good.I was ready to find a new shop. This changed for the better when Gina stated working there.I am not sure what her title is whether manager owner or what but she is absolutely wonderful.
My fur baby used to be so afraid to get groomed, but when he is with her, he melts in her arms and stops shaking. This girl completely changed the atmosphere by bringing such a loving and positive vibe to Doggy Dream. Her customer service skills go above and beyond expectations. My baby is always safe and loved when he is there for his grooming.
The groomer does a good job, however he is always on the phone and never pays attention to us customers when we say hello or goodbye. Having matching bananas or bows would be helpful too.

Even during the worst of moments when one of my babies passed away, she was the absolute best and so kind to us. All of my kitties are patients here and will continue to be. Dr. Sharin and the rest of the Barnside staff are beyond amazing!!!

He worked with our two dogs, Enzo and Molly, at a time when we were dealing with frequent fighting, resource guarding, excessive barking, jumping, pulling on the leash during walks, and a general lack of listening. We had previously worked with two other trainers, and despite multiple sessions, we never saw progress like we have with Dan.
Dan’s approach goes far beyond basic obedience. He showed us how to build real, lasting relationships with our dogs through trust, clear communication, and consistency. He also took the time to build his own relationship with Enzo and Molly by playing with them, getting on the floor with them, and earning their trust. That effort made a huge difference in how our dogs responded. Dan never rushed the process or told us what we wanted to hear. Instead, he focused on setting us up for long-term success.
While we still have work ahead of us, Dan has given my husband and me the tools, confidence, and understanding we need to maintain control, reduce conflict, and bring peace and respect back into our home. He didn’t just train our dogs but he trained us to be better, more confident dog parents.
We are incredibly grateful for Dan’s guidance and truly cannot recommend him enough to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and effective dog training. Thanks again Dan!

1424 Maxim Southard Rd, HowellMy dog died yesterday, but for years we brought her to Highland Kennel. We always had a good experience there and our dog seemed to have a nice time as well. No anxiety or other issues or concerns when we picked her up. It's hard to write this today. She was a 12 year old lab mix. A wonderful girl. RIP Miss Dixie.

692 Lakewood Farmingdale Rd, HowellMy husband and I chose this facility to board and train our sweet and rambunctious six month old rescue puppy, Ruby. It was hard to keep her attention, have her not jump, and be consistent with commands. When we picked her up after two weeks and Mallory walked us through Ruby’s training, we were in awe. It is like night and day—her ability to heel, sit, stay, come….we couldn’t be more satisfied! With the arrival of our first baby in a few months, we are confident Ruby’s new manners will make her the best big sister.

2420 US-9, HowellThis place is near Route 9 in Howell, NJ. I went there for a private dinner with about 20 people. Our dining area was neatly arranged and could accommodate around 20 more people. The service was excellent, with the staff repeating the day's specials multiple times until we made our choices. I tried the Grilled Atlantic Salmon, and it was tasty--you can never go wrong with salmon! The portion size was generous, and I was quite full just with the salmon. I would definitely recommend this place for private dinners and events.
