“Excellent location for staying close to New York City. The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the PATH train station, with convenient connections to both Newark and the World Trade Center. The breakfast was fairly good, and the complimentary shuttle service was a nice addition.
The room was spacious and included an additional pullout sofa bed. The well-equipped kitchenette came with a fridge and dishwasher. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay.”

“One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. right down the road from the train station so easy access to NYC. the bathroom was a little small but was perfect size for a shorter person. Will definitely be recommending the place to family and friends. And the house keeper was lovely she was discreet and polite and did a wonderful job.”
“Always a pleasant stay! Reliable, convenient location and ample parking. Amenities, cleanliness and decor are all decent.
The staff are always super sweet and helpful, even when I’ve checked in after 11pm and out at 7am. The gym is 24-hour and there’s also a self-service laundry room.
The rooms have ample space with a seating area and a full kitchenette. The bathrooms also have shampoo, body wash and hand soap in the hotel dispensers (no conditioner though) and a hairdryer. All the typical amenities. I actually went to a Korean spa only 20 min away for the whole day before coming back here to check-in afterwards.
They also offer complimentary breakfast 6-9am. Perfect to grab and go to work the next morning!”

“Loop Inn is honestly a very unique experience for what it’s designed to be.
This is very clearly a couples-focused romantic getaway spot, and they lean fully into that concept. Each room seems to have its own theme or unique setup, which makes the experience feel fun and memorable if you’re looking for something different from a standard hotel stay. Our room included some really cool features that definitely added to the atmosphere.
That said, the property does show its age in places. Some rooms feel very much like they came straight out of the late 90s / early 2000s, and there are some visible wear-and-tear details like minor wall damage or dated layouts. Personally, that didn’t bother me much because that’s not really the reason couples are booking a place like this ?
A few practical things worth noting:
- Room outlet placement was a little odd, and in our room there weren’t outlets conveniently near the bed.
- No drawers/storage in the room we booked.
- Fireplace use requires purchasing logs separately, which may be worth knowing in advance.
- Their food service appears to be more of a local ordering/partner service setup rather than in-house dining (we didn’t personally use it).
The only part that felt off was the payment/check-in experience. The website appeared to process the reservation but didn’t clearly take payment, which created confusion at arrival. Because of that, the interaction with staff felt a little awkward, as though we were being treated like we were avoiding payment, when it seemed more like a system/process issue.
Overall though, if you understand what Loop Inn is meant for, it does its job well. Pricing felt reasonable for the experience, the themed romantic concept is genuinely fun, and it’s definitely a memorable couples getaway. I wouldn’t personally view it as a standard long-stay hotel, but for a romantic escape? Absolutely.”

“So I went to Newark, NJ for the first time for a conference at the Robert Treat Center. I booked TRYP hotel since it was 3 minutes walk to the venue. It’s also my first time ever staying in TRYP hotels.. it was okay, nothing spectacular but they had everything you needed in a hotel. On thing I would say is that it has big restroom which is awesome! I mean, I’m coming from NY and you can imagine the restrooms in hotels in NY.. so tiny.. plus you pay a lot to stay in hotels in NY city.
But the prices for TRYP were so affordable (I paid $300 for two night). The last time I stayed in a hotel in NY, I paid more than that for one night. Lol.
Note that TRYP doesn’t have complimentary breakfast but they have a Dutch restaurant in the hotel where you can order breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will attach photos of the menu and room.
Also check out is at noon not at 11am like other hotels. I even requested for late checkout because I had a meeting at noon and wanted to be comfortable, and they extended it to 1 for me. The receptionist and worker there (including those at the restaurant) are generally kind.
One thing I didn’t like was how the workers vacuum so early and they woke me up every single time.. and when they were cleaning the room close to me.. it was so loud and annoying at some point and I couldn’t sleep-in in the morning..
Overall, I recommend.”

“Check-in was a bit unorganized, as we had to enter through the lounge rather than the main doors. Once settled, everything improved. The rooms were very nice—clean, comfortable, and with great beds. Lorenzo restaurant and bar area were convenient, welcoming. Javier at the bar offered good service, even when busy making it an enjoyable place to relax.”

“I stayed 3 nights at Night Inn Motel, South Amboy, New Jersey, and I had a really great experience. The hotel was very clean, neat, quiet, and comfortable. My room was non-smoking and included a TV, microwave, and fridge, which made my stay very convenient. The atmosphere was peaceful, and I had a very relaxing stay.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the reception staff member Chamil Sri Lankan guy. He helped me during check-in and explained nearby tourist places, food options, and transportation. His customer service was absolutely excellent, and he made me feel very welcome. I truly believe his kindness and professionalism are one of the reasons this hotel is always busy with guests.
I would also like to thank the hotel owner and all the staff for their brilliant service and hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to other travelers. I live in Dubai, and I will definitely recommend this place to my friends there as well.
Whenever I visit New Jersey again, I will definitely stay here again and again. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!”

“I can't believe that I have to stay here for two weeks before I can get my room clean and my sheets changed. Who does that two weeks. I do not sleep on my sheets more than 3 days and when they are soiled after sex they are changed the same night. That is the reason we get double beds, so that we can soil one bed and sleep in the other.
Rooms: My room was not cleaned , the head boards were dirty. There is a pen on the floor next to the bed that was not cleaned up.”

I walked in to the front desk. Not even three minutes into being there, some kid kept screaming, “THEY’RE COMING!” No adult supervision for this kid. The line was so long and it look me around 10-12 minute to reach the front desk. When I got there, It was a random old man who looked like he experienced the Titanic. I asked him, “Just a room for one please.” You know what he said? “Sorry, we only have rooms for 50 people or up.” WHAT? ? Anyway, I got a room for 50. (It was $900 dollars by the way even though I’m one person). Despite being for 50 people and up, the room was TINY. I could barely fit my suitcase. After that, I immediately check out. Worst hotel experience ever.”

“I recently retired. In the last 45 days, I've been in every state on the U.S. east coast from Florida to Maine and I have to admit, last night was the best sleep during this road trip. From checking in with Chloe (she's amazing btw, greet her kindly if she's on duty) to the cleaning of the room, which I normally have issues with (still Lysol'ed down everything though) everything felt right which put me at ease. If my stay was an anomaly, I'll take it, but if this is the norm my hat goes off to Chloe, the cleaning team, and management. Please keep up the great work.
Ohhhh... Did I mention that it's located next to some good shopping (Walmart, Target, Marshall's, etc...) and all the food places (Freddy's, Blaze, Starbucks, Panera Bread, Chick-fil-a, etc...) you can think of. All within walking distance. Hope you enjoy your stay.
Parking was free, breakfast was the norm, didn't expect much there. They had nice looking bananas though.”
