“We went to Ace this evening for some paint samples for an interior project we are working on. We arrived thirty minutes before the store closed. I was worried we would be greeted with an eye roll at the request for five different samples. We experienced quite the opposite. Matt who was available to answer questions at the front of the store and Art (the manager who was helping us with paints) were lovely and very helpful. While we don’t live super close to this store, I plan to use it for this project and others. This is a reminder that the smaller stores really do offer a different kind of customer service and knowledge than what you sometimes get at big box stores and it’s a good thing to support these smaller establishments! Their prices were competitive as was their stock of items. Thank you both for the terrific service. Check out this location for all of your paint and home improvement needs!”

“Builders General is the best! We have a personal rep (Peter) who is always a phone call away for all of our needs. He is the best!! Everyone at the counter is super helpful. We go to all of the Builder General locations depending where our job is and everyone is so pleasant, you can really tell it is a family owned buisness. Builders General takes pride in every sale small or large. They are a well rounded buisness down to even to loading materials and deliveries. (Shout out to Jay in Little Silver- he is super helpful!)”

“I don't understand how they have everything I need in what feels like such a small store, but they do. Saves me a bunch of trips to Home Depot and Walmart (never would have thought to check here for bike supplies, but they have 'em!). They even have weird varieties of common items that I'm sometimes looking for. For the stuff I've needed, the prices are about the same as (sometimes less than!) Home Depot, too. Love this place.”

Pete in the paints dept brought me right to the product I needed and I felt confident it was the right one, he was smart & funny ... Rich in hardware could not have been more patient and kind and helpful, thought he was finished helping me but then he came back to give me more info after checking with the guys in lumber ... and Jerry at self-checkout was friendly, and gentle, knew what she was doing, it was a pleasure. Kudos to whoever is doing the hiring at Lowes.”
