I called from New York to see if they still had a generator I wanted since the website showed it was “low stock.” They only had one left, and the employee I spoke with even took the time to physically check that it was still there for me.
A huge thank you to Jorge (or George I apologize if I misspelled your name). After I realized I had forgotten to use my coupon, I ran back into the store. Jorge was waiting for me at the door, guided me straight to a cashier, and made sure I got my refund for the price difference quickly and without any hassle. That level of customer service really stood out.
Erick at the register was also excellent friendly, efficient, and made the checkout process smooth.

“Builders General is the best! We have a personal rep (Peter) who is always a phone call away for all of our needs. He is the best!! Everyone at the counter is super helpful. We go to all of the Builder General locations depending where our job is and everyone is so pleasant, you can really tell it is a family owned buisness. Builders General takes pride in every sale small or large. They are a well rounded buisness down to even to loading materials and deliveries. “Within the past month, I have gone into the Ocean Grove hardware store and each time I have been met with a smile and, “How can I help you.” I have gotten everything I have needed whether it was paint, eye hooks, air filters for the furnace, and today an outdoor electrical outlet box. I installed the new box with a new outlet that I had purchased from Home Depot and it didn’t work. I went back to OG hardware and spoke with Dan. He was very helpful, telling me all the possible scenarios, one of which was that perhaps the outlet I had was defective. I bought a new outlet, went home and eureka!!! It worked!! I am cutting up my Home Depot card and will do all my shopping at the Ocean Grove hardware store, where quality and excellent, friendly service is always to be found.”
“This is the kind of place you never find any more--what a gem! I was referred to Don when the Rohl faucet I had replated was missing a part. He spent 45 minutes helping to find the combinations of parts to get it back in working condition (not a typical fix). All the people working there were helpful, friendly and accommodating. I know they have a busy operation, but Don really took the time to troubleshoot--and the price was really reasonable. You can see they really know their craft!”

We’ve been working with Atlantic Plumbing Supply for quite a while now, and they continue to exceed our expectations. Everyone there is extremely helpful, on top of things, and truly goes above and beyond whenever we need assistance.
We work closely with A. O. Smith Water Heaters handling service and warranty replacements, and Harrison and his team help us every single time with certifying units and processing warranties for our customers. No matter which Atlantic Plumbing Supply location we go to, we’re always greeted with a friendly hello and genuine customer service.
It’s a refreshing experience compared to other supply houses where you’re often met with “What do you need?” instead of actual help. Because of the service they provide, we’ll go out of our way to come here even when other suppliers are closer to the job. Highly recommended.
