“One of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. right down the road from the train station so easy access to NYC. the bathroom was a little small but was perfect size for a shorter person. Will definitely be recommending the place to family and friends. And the house keeper was lovely she was discreet and polite and did a wonderful job.”

“Very quick stay for a funeral. I checked in late and was greeted and checked in by Kevin. He was so kind and friendly. Upon entering the room, I realized it was way too hot. The AC was not functioning properly. Kevin was immediately there to check it out and switch me to another room in minutes. So appreciative for the excellent customer service! The second room unfortunately had similar issue (not as bad). Restaurant is also very nice! Staff very kind. They were closing but were accommodating to a quick take out beverage which was very nice.”

“Good Morning! I have spoken with the staff at both Fairfield and Fanwood locations, however I am hoping my words manage to reach the Parkers. My dog Ben was staying at the Fairfield location when my worst nightmare as a pet parent was unraveling. I am traveling for work and am across the country, not set to return until later in the week. Outside of the heroism of the first responders, humane society and good samaritans, I cannot say enough about K9 resort's personnel as well as policy/procedures in place. Friends and family always inquire why I opt to pay to board Ben while I travel. This incident answered that inquiry in and of itself. Your emergency plan went into effect and was implemented with the outcome we all desire for live saving events. So not only do I know my Ben will be happy,loved and well cared for while staying at the facility, he will be rescued should an emergency erupt, which in this scenario seemed to be unpredictable and to no fault of anyone. After hearing that my Ben was ok and survived, the care did not stop there. Being a panic stricken fur mom from thousands of miles away, the staff could not have been more understanding and patient with my calls, questions and emails. They were so kind and reassuring with the ability to answer every single question I had while tears in my eyes on the other end of the phone trying to keep my composure. I applaud you as the leaders of this corporation for instilling this professionalism and compassion down your hierarchy. I sent pastries to the Fairfield PD, as well as the Fanwood location and made a donation to Fairfield Fire. Please reach out to me if I can do anything from here forward to honor the K9 personnel from that night and who continue to treat my boy, as well as me, as if they know how much my dog means to me. Also should there be any recognition in time for the first responders, I would love to to be able to attend. As well as the reopening for Fairfield. “Always a pleasant stay! Reliable, convenient location and ample parking. Amenities, cleanliness and decor are all decent.

The staff are always super sweet and helpful, even when I’ve checked in after 11pm and out at 7am. The gym is 24-hour and there’s also a self-service laundry room.

The rooms have ample space with a seating area and a full kitchenette. The bathrooms also have shampoo, body wash and hand soap in the hotel dispensers (no conditioner though) and a hairdryer. All the typical amenities. I actually went to a Korean spa only 20 min away for the whole day before coming back here to check-in afterwards.

They also offer complimentary breakfast 6-9am. Perfect to grab and go to work the next morning!”

“I always enjoy staying at this hotel! But I have to give a shout out to the new parking QR codes. It is so much easier than having to run a ticket back out to my car after I’ve already checked in. “We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. A special thank you to Hermione at the reception, who was incredibly kind and always available to assist us with anything we needed. Eric was also extremely helpful, especially in arranging and driving the hotel shuttle to our nearby office always punctual and supportive.
The rooms were clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was enjoyable, with particularly good coffee.
Overall, a very pleasant experience and we would gladly stay here again.”

“This place was fantastic! It is getting a little dated and could use some renovations but room was comfortable and clean and the staff was wonderful. I mean wonderful! I come fairly regularly, and every single time I'm taking care of like family. They really go out of their way to make you comfortable , and your stay just as perfect as it can be. I had recently been exposed long-term to black mold and was very, very sick, and I had to come up to New Jersey and without them even knowing about this problem, they put me on the floor that they just had all the rooms redone, that have air purifying units in them. I can't tell you how much better I felt within a couple days. They put me there just to treat me extra special but it turned out to really be something special because of how sick I was. You just can't find the kind of customer service that I get here on a regular basis. It just doesn't seem to happen as much as it used to, as far as service goes. I come regularly because of my grandson, who has been coming here since he was born and is now 2 years old. They treat him like royalty - honestly. And I think he feels like this is his Grammy's home! Jose, the manager Is a true captain of the ship - setting a great example for his staff on how they should handle guests. Rayshawn is a fantastic assistant - always takes great care of us also. Anthony, the breakfast person is one of my grandson's favorites! ( Probably because he's feeding us!) Hermione, on the front desk is just so welcoming and kind - always helping me with anything I need. Housekeeping is exactly the same way with the service and always going out of their way to talk and play with the little guy! I know this is a long review and I don't usually write a lot of reviews. But I do for this place because they always go above and beyond. Being so far from home and everything so different in this cold country and I come from Florida - it's nice to be somewhere familiar with familiar people. But quite honestly , even the familiarity isn't enough For me to rave , it really is the people!”

“My mom and I stayed here a few weeks ago. I was impressed with the size of our room. Breakfast is included and there is a great variety. The front desk people are friendly and nice especially Przemek, very nice young man.
Centrally located to town where there’s plethora of coffee shops, restaurants and stores and the train station is steps away. Very comfortable.”

“Stayed here from 9th Jan to 11th Jan, the hotel was good I’d give it 4 stars to be honest I just expected it to be more luxurious because it’s Hyatt and to the lady and gentleman who were working on the reception at around 9pm on the 9th of Jan I’d give you guys 10 stars not 5, you were more than kind and welcoming and you made my night after a tiring trip to New Jersey, really sorry I didn’t get to know your names but you probably know me from the jacket we made jokes about ?❤️”

“Loved everything about this hotel. From the customer service to the food, pool, jacuzzi, and room service. I was pleased. I also loved the fact that the floors were quiet and the rooms were sound proof. I will definitely be back again. To check out the outdoor pool and terrace.”

The TV was not directly in front of the bed headboard in my room. Else, great room!

Food and drinks: No food and drinks and no room service.
The bar and restaurant opens on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights these days.
It is best suited for extended stays.”

All other furnishings were some 50-75% at best. Stove (permanent hot plate) was uncomfortable to use.

“From the moment you enter the hotel, you're greeted by exceptionally friendly staff that make you feel welcomed. From the front check-in, to the Starbucks barista, to the restaurant bartender, everyone makes you feel at home. The hotel itself is well maintained and very clean. Top notch comfortable beds and pillows will help deliver a great night's sleep. As someone who travels often nationwide and also stays at Hilton hotels, I'd rate this hotel at the top.”

“This Hyatt house thing is the best is comfy and is very affordable. Also the free breakfast is soooo good like their eggs and bacon and pancakes are so good I tried everything and in my opinion is so delicious. So if you want to stay somewhere that is comfy and very affordable go with Hyatt house they give you everything you need and the cleaning is amazing.”

“Well lucky for me the room was decent. The staff was great and they took care of me quickly. I did read the reviews but decided to take a chance. Shockingly my room was clean and I didn't see any bugs. I say shockingly because I been to low priced rooms and it was dirty, smelly, and outdated. The only issue I had was the shower rod being placed to low in the bathtub and the building itself is a little old but it was still nice. My favorite part was the little shops and restaurants all within walking distance. You can park your car in their lot and take a walk in the neighborhood.”
