“I have just recently moved all the way from California a few days earlier I was doing some shopping and I went into the garden center after doing my food shopping I was frazzled and this young gentleman help me he answered my questions he took me to the product that I was searching for explained me how to use it and not only that he could tell I think that I had had enough and he told me that he could bring up all my items they are in the garden center I was so relievedAnd I seem to relax just a bit unfortunately I I believe his name was DeQwan I’m sorry if I misspelled it or miss pronounce it but I just wanted you to know what an excellent employee that you have I worked in customer service for 20yearsAnd so I appreciate good customer service and I know when they go above and beyond and this young man certainly did thank you so much”

“Terrific Home Depot!! Very organized and clean, found everything I needed, although getting help requires a few minutes. One of the best Home Depot's I've seen. Extremely efficient curbside pick up process with clear signs. I visited during the coronavirus pandemic. Also the queue for checking out was great compared to other stores. Clean and well lit, fully stocked. As usual it's tricky finding help. Especially when a few are talking together and laughing about something as I watch. Nonetheless the best Home Depot in the area and one of the best I've seen. Highly recommended if choosing between Home Depot's. It's also better than the local Lowe's too by the way. .”

“This store is the best in the region.The employees are knowledgeable and caring. They really want to help you find what you need so you don't need to run around looking elsewhere.The shelves are always well organized way beyond any other home depot I've been to.The supervisor, Paul, I never see him doing anything but working and helping and always puts the customer first.I live almost an hour away but THIS is the home depot I travel to because of Paul and all of his help and knowledge.Paul is an exceptional employee and person in general. “Got my Christmas tree at Dambly's , many different sizes and they are nice and fresh. Even though it's a bit expensive for a 9ft. tree if you ask me, it's totally worth it. Very nice service people that helped us tie and purchase it. Definetly recommend this place”

From homemade salsas to traditional tortillas, quesos, and Michoacana ice cream, it’s a wonderful treat to explore this quaint store.The friendly and helpful manager (or owner?) told me about their weekly tradition where they make and serve fresh tomales each Saturday from 10-Noon.Overall, this little gem of a grocer has become a new favorite for conveniently fresh produce and authentic Mexican flavors. “Groff's Nursery is a wonderful place to buy flowers and plants for gardens. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and their prices are fair. There is also a gift shop with seasonal items. At Christmastime, a room is decorated for the holidays and Santa is there so families can take pictures with Santa. Santa is great with kids and makes every visit special.”

“Updated: Still love going to this nursery for house plants. Love that they've added cards to there plant areas telling you what light and soil requirements the plants need. It's my go to place for house plants.Absolutely love this nursery wide variety of both indoor and outdoor plants. Wide selection of house plants very reasonable prices. “I absolutely love this place! It's a kids Wonderland with all of the various decorated trees and the little tour that they offer. The staff couldn't be nicer... Especially Charlene. I was in search of a new artificial tree and she pointed me exactly in the direction I needed to be. I'm a huge proponent of supporting small business... especially this business!”

“I bought two different Polywood rockers from Green Lea. They were very helpful when trying the different rockers at the store (but not too "hover-y"). When I got them home I realized that I preferred the one over the other. I called them back to see if I could swap. It wasn't their store policy, but they said, sure, bring it in and we'll swap it for you. I brought in and, no questions asked, they swapped it. Then when I got the new one home and assembled it, there was a problem with one of the parts. I called them up, and they said to send the part numbers and Polywood would send the new parts. The parts came very quickly—again no questions, no charge. Rob was particularly helpful throughout the process. Makes me want to go back to them for any of our yard and patio needs! Oh, and I love the rockers!!”

We have only ever been met with a smiling face and affable personality and I wanted to take a moment to thank a few individuals that have made myself or my family feel welcomed and provided extraordinary service in one way or another.* JERRY * from lumber was one of my first interactions at this location and he immediately jumped into conversation with me, making sure I had everything I needed, and really took the time to connect with me right off the bat. These interactions have continued everytime I come into this store, from remembering my name, what project I'm working on, or waving from across the store when he's helping another customer but sees me in the distance. Jerry is a 10/10 employee.* FRANCIS* is my favorite cashier that also shares the same affable personality as Jerry, is so easy to talk to, and makes my husband and I feel so appreciated everytime we interact with him. A fellow military vet, he really connected with our family. He is a genuinely kind soul and your store wouldn't be the same without him.*ROB* Aka Uncle Rob, is what my kids call him, in the paint department. Talk about someone who remembers everything about your last conversation and picks up right where you left off the next time he sees you! It was no wonder my kids latched on to him right away. He is so kind, and is genuinely invested in not only the projects we're completing, asking to see photos, but in my personal goals and aspirations. He's my own personal Home Depot cheerleader as I'm applying to medical school in the next few years! I came into the store one time to check-in and found Ethan on hold trying to find a solution to my issue. The timing was perfect and it shows that even when the customer isn't present, they are actively working on your behalf at the Berlin location!*XIOMARA* is an angel woman in customer service that makes me feel special every time she sees me. Between the sweet "hello, how are you!?", everytime I walk in, even when I'm not paying attention, to her bubbly personality that immediately puts me in a better mood, we LOVE her!!Home Depot, Berlin, you really know how to hire them! Truly the BEST team I've seen in one location in a LONG time. As a military spouse who travels the world and renovates every home she lives in, AND whose favorite store IS Home Depot, I've been to a lot of locations, and I've interacted with a lot of employees. “I went there today to get a certain tool. First saw a sales person and he directed me to another sales associate. A man wearing an Eagles Kelsey jersey. Forgot to get his name unfortunately.The tool I was looking was not available according to their inventory. He then told me what other Home Depots had the tool. Not much to say except that i had zero issues picking up an online order, none with processing a return and none while doing other miscellaneous shopping. “Let me tell you something...my wife and I have been searching low and high, near and far for outdoor Halloween decorations. The animatronic stuff was put out right around Labor Day, which seemed far too early only...to find out I needed to fall just short of selling my body or going on the dark web to find any more, because they sell so quickly. So I end up buying a six foot LED willow tree for Halloween online only to get an email telling me it was canceled while halfway there. Annoyed, we call customer service. That's when we get Wanda on the phone. Wonderful, darling Wanda. Wanda tells us we should have been called regarding the cancellation, but that unfortunately, the trees and cauldron we were looking for were not available. It gets stranger. Wanda then actually checks. Didnt just say 'no we dont and have a nice night,' which she could have...she LOOKED. And found what we were looking for. Plus the rest we couldnt find anywhere else. THEN calls us back to tell us!!! Madness! My point, they walked with hundreds of my dollars in the form of LED willow trees and a cauldron because of customer service. Almost entirely because of customer service. The experience could very well have been negative, but because of someone doing the extra part, they have not only my business but my respect, and the world could use more of that s*** right now!”
