“I’m still leaving five stars because this incident was not caused by the business or its employees. I’m sharing it only so management is aware in case anyone else reports similar behavior. At approximately 8:30 p.m. 9/13/26, I was pumping gas alone when a man from a silver, likely 2000s-era Dodge Caravan or similar minivan several stalls away approached me from behind. I was in the second left-most row in the front pump facing the road. And all I saw was him approaching when I looked up. My vehicle was beside me and the gas hose was stretched behind me, so I felt completely blocked in with no clear way to move forward or backward. I had not seen him approach, and I became frightened and yelled for him to get away. My fight or flight reaction chose fight and flight simultaneously. I wasn’t the most polite but it was dark and I was alone, not expecting anyone to approach me. Everyone heard us. I ran into my car and locked the doors while the gas continued pumping. Remaining inside while the tank filled gave them time to disengage once they realized I was not getting back out. Afterward, a woman associated with the van honked to get my attention, positioned the van perpendicular to my vehicle, and flipped me off as they were leaving. I’m grateful I needed a full tank so I was still inside my vehicle. I cannot truthfully think of a single thing they needed. The whole interaction and the way they behaved after made it clear it wasn’t going to be just an innocent request. The encounter - them blocking my path multiple times especially - made me feel unsafe. I hope management will remain alert in case these individuals have approached other customers. It is not the gas station’s fault - just a typical evening in Albuquerque unfortunately. Stay safe out there folks.”

“Went by earlier today to get ice for my Husky. Tapped chose a 20 lb bag and this is what I got! I texted the number from the ice machine. Skeptical that I wouldn't hear back for awhile or that it would take days to get a refund. Not the case here. The owner is very responsive. I was blown away that by time I got back to my truck the owner not only had responded but also made it right. I pulled up to the front of the ice machine to get my credited 20 lb bag and 10 lbs had already come down the chute and was waiting for me. Shortly after the other 10 lb bag came down. This good quality ice and way cheaper than any grocery store, gas station or fast food restaurant. You'd be crazy to go anywhere else. For once in this expensive world where less is way more you get better and larger for less and it's fast and convenient. Being that I'm old school and believe in old fashion customer service the way it's supposed to be. Now my Husky is happy, cooled off and comatose! Thanks again for the quality and not the price driven product. Heck I don't think that even Superman could've responded that quick!”

Easy to get to the fuel pump and fill and then went in to get a drink and was amazed! It is a small store but they have a good choice including fountain drinks. But that was not what amazed me, it was Maria, the place is jumping with people on the way to work or to hit the road and she talks to each one. She welcomed me in and as I was there I noticed every person was spoken to and treated like royalty. she spoke Spanish and English very well and was so upbeat and pleasant I know why people stop here in the mornings.
