Canine Dez-ign Inc
1407 E 20th St, FarmingtonThis was baby Ruby Roo's very first trip to the groomer. They were wonderful to both of us from start to finish. They took the time to get to know Ruby, make her very comfortable, and explain what her groom would entail. She looked and smelled wonderful. Because of their TLC won't be nervous going to the groomer in the future.

Mary's Dog Grooming
80 Rd 5295, FarmingtonI first met Mary many years ago when I lived nearer to her location. I felt very comfortable leaving my dogs with her, and I can remember picking up one of them as a pup after her first groom. Mary was seated on the grass with my Lily, petting her and playing a little. It was a calm picture on a sunny day that I still remember. When I found out she was still in business, I was really happy to know that. I think she has her own special way with dogs and they trust her. I like the fact that her place is not overly packed with people and animals, because that's better for my dogs. They looked wonderful last time I had them groomed there, and she knows what she's doing.

Emond Boyd M DVM
167 Browning Pkwy, FarmingtonI have looked for two years to find someone who could take care of my dog properly, including groom him. He is an older standard doodle with bad hips and he’s very neurotic. He usually has to be sedated. Petra did an amazing job today and did not have to sedate him. He hasn’t looked so handsome in a very long time. He also got his blood work and shots. I was impressed by the very friendly, accommodating staff and how clean the facility was. The prices are very reasonable too! Thank you so much!

San Juan Veterinary Hospital: Lillywhite Loyd DVM
167 Browning Pkwy, FarmingtonThey are a clean veterinary hospital, I hadn't been to a vet hospital in over 3 years as we have not had a pet until 6 weeks ago, the first two visit with my puppy were great, however the visit today was a little different, there was a young girl assisting the Doctor, she was quiet, she kind of took over my puppy and did the weight, then the Doctor gave her the thermometer, she checked her temp, I asked if she was training, new or if she was a Doctor, she spoke up and said she's been there for 5 1/2 years and is a tech. I wasn't impressed with her , not very friendly, felt like she didn't enjoy her job, I sure hope the animals don't sense her attitude, I was thankful that today was my last visit until next year. I don't particularly care for her in the room while my puppy is being taken care of.

San Juan Veterinary Hospital
167 Browning Pkwy, FarmingtonPhenomenal service! They showed such grace and patience as we arrived late after our long journey to get our cat medical attention. Our cat’s first-ever car ride was nothing short of a full dramatic opera—complete with wailing solos, frantic pacing, and multiple emergency pit stops for everyone to emotionally regroup. And to top it off, they had this beautiful art décor (a painting?) that added such a warm, calming touch the moment we walked in. Truly appreciated their kindness from start to finish.

Pet Sitting & Training

Cici’s Paws and Whiskers
7303 E Main St, FarmingtonAfter shopping around looking for a boarder from Farmington to Durango , I’m so glad I chose Cicis. The staff were very friendly and especially understanding about my anxiety over leaving my rescue dog for the first time. I was so scared to leave him with strangers. From my first inquiry thru email to drop off they were professional and helpful. They allowed a meet and greet so I could see the accommodations and meet the staff.
They anticipated every need I may have as a dog parent and answered every question BEFORE I could ask. From food to toys and meds they are so detail oriented and it’s comforting to know how much they care
I highly recommend Cicis for boarding. The facility looks great, clean, updated and the staff make it even better. I trust them!
My dog was so happy when I picked him up. And receiving him with a report about how much he loved playing ball was EVERYTHING! That melted my heart to know he was in good hands and they enjoyed playing with him.
Cicis genuinely cares for your dogs and I will use them again. Thank you for the best experience!

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

Locke Street Eats
112 N Locke Ave, FarmingtonThere were about 7-10 food trucks to choose from. One of the food trucks was able to make a vegetarian burrito. So vegetarians won't starve lol No outside food or drinks, but I had a cooler in a car with veggies and dips. I have a strict diet and could not eat food from food trucks, but it wasn't a big deal to go to a car and eat. It is all outside. Clean bathrooms.

Hills Café
5101 N Dustin Ave, FarmingtonI have recently started going here about 6 months ago. it was hard to find a church that met my standards. I believe that kneeling down and praying to a cross is worshiping a graven image. I waited and asked God for decades for a church to meet that standard. Eventually I found Hills. love the people and the daily word. The pastor is amazing I can't remember a pastor in my life telling the harsh truths.. I love it thanks Pastor! Look forward to my family for generations to come to God. Thanks Hills!!!!!

5150 College Blvd #206, FarmingtonHad breakfast burritos and coffee here on a morning in Farmington (from out of town). The breakfast burrito was somewhat atypical for a New Mexican burrito but it was a fun change and still quite good. Coffee was nice too, and the place is super cute!

Red Lobster
ON THE ANIMAS RIVER, 3451 E Main St, Farmington⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an excellent experience at Red Lobster! We were seated right away, and the service was outstanding from start to finish. We ordered the All-You-Can-Eat Shrimp, and the refills came quickly without having to wait.
As someone who follows a gluten-free diet, I especially appreciated how seamlessly the staff accommodated my dietary needs. They were knowledgeable, attentive, and made the process easy and stress-free.
Our waiter, Andre, was excellent—friendly, polite, kind, and attentive throughout the meal. The manager also stopped by to check on us, which showed great customer care. Best of all, our food was prepared exactly the way we requested.
Great food, great service, and a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!

Long John Silver's
3030 E Main St Unit U, FarmingtonThis long John silver is a quaint little spot, to enjoy, a unique seafood experience.
The atmosphere inside is so much fun, and the staff is always cleaning up the tables and staying active assisting with orders.
I prefer getting popcorn shrimp since it’s an easy food that can never go wrong.
The parking area is a little small and odd. I do recommend parking near Baskin Robbins, area and just walking over.
My favorite thing to do is watch a ocean themed movie like Jaws and then grab some seafood from Long John Silver‘s for a theme dinner and movie.
