299 West Frontage Road, MancosDr. Rose A. Bernholtz is truly a lifesaver. On the afternoon of July 3rd, our 5-month-old puppy, Copper, was brutally attacked by a neighbor’s pitbull in our yard. It was late in the day before a holiday weekend, and despite calling multiple veterinary and emergency clinics, no one would see him including Durango.
Dr. Bernholtz stayed late to help when no one else would. Copper had devastating injuries, including a crushed skull and serious trauma to his nose, jaw, and neck. She immediately took X-rays, managed his pain, and provided the emergency care he desperately needed.
Her compassion, expertise, and dedication saved Copper’s life. In one of the most frightening moments our family has ever experienced, she went above and beyond for our puppy and our family. We are forever grateful to Dr. Bernholtz and the entire team at Mancos Valley Veterinary Hospital. They are the kind of people you hope are there when you need them most.

41900 US-160, MancosI am a wedding photographer based in Durango which has provided me with the opportunity to try most if not all of the local wedding caterers. Global Kitchen was THE BEST food caterer that I have had at a wedding in this area. I would highly recommend hiring them for your event!

Mancos Brewing Company
484 Hwy 160 E Frontage Road, MancosGreat hole-in-the-wall brewery. We enjoyed their pizza and their enchiladas. Their beers and kombucha were very tasty. I love finding local, unassuming places with great food. This one fit the bill.
