111 N Market St, CortezAfter hiking in the park all day, we stopped here for dinner. We tried just about everything on the menu and our three adults and three kids loved everything we tried. The croissant on the chicken salad sandwich was flaky and crunchy. The blt bacon was perfectly cooked and the jalepeno cream cheese was not too spicy for the 10 yo and 12yo, while the adults enjoyed the leftovers on chips. The cowboy caviar bean salsa was a huge hit with everyone. The roast beef rancher sandwich was gone in about five seconds but I had one bite and it was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The pretzel was tasty and soft but the beer cheese (alcohol cooked out) had a really good flavor and texture that everyone loved. Tasty specialty root beer and ginger beer were also a hit with the kids, while the adults were happy with the smoky-flavored fenceline cider and the two beers we bought were also both good. You order at the bar and bus your own table. Super fun and chill atmosphere with oil paintings of the local landscape for sale on the walls!
