“Super clean store with some of the sweetest employees! Today I stopped in for a few items and was rewarded with a beautiful bouquet of flowers for being customer of the day! Such a sweet gesture and it made my day!”
“First time shopping there, some of the prices are kind of high, but they have a pretty good selection. Was in and out in about an hour, groceries for the month. Almost $5 for frozen OJ too much! I think they do pretty well considering this side of town. Matches the vibe as far as grocery stores go.

I am grateful to La Tienda and staff for being consistently helpful, friendly and courteous. Thank you, Mr. Carter (the owner) who has a small, but reliant team running the place.
I have to mention the sale prices and clearance are wonderful. They really know how to make your dollars stretch. The meat is reasonably priced and the milk goes on clearance pretty regularly.
What is unique about La Tienda, is that the atmosphere and shopping experience is calm and unassuming. Which makes it comfortable for people like me who like to take their time and shop.
Also, I used to work for Mr. Carter's other store, Carter's Thriftway as a cashier and it was a good experience as well.
4 star rating for prices and customer service.
Food quality is below average to average, but it works in a pinch.
