“I've shopped at this store for almost 40 years. Of course many things have changed during that time. One thing that I dislike is having to buy pre-packaged amounts of an item. But that seems to be the policy of the parent Ace hardware store and the local store seems to have little or no control over that. One thing that hasn't changed through the years is the friendly, helpful employees. That's what keeps me coming back.”

“I called around and I needed to paint a brick fireplace everyone in town said yes just use primer. Dunn-Edwards said no you need a special primer for brick and they had it in stock.”
“Update: July 2021We had an awesome experience with our consultant Diana Allen in designing our bar area. From start to finish, she was super helpful and the installations for the cabinets, glass doors and granite countertop was smooth and easy. We were so happy they could match our same cabinets and gave us a beautiful option on granite to make the area look unique and beautiful. We highly recommend Sher-wood. People you can trust and their workers/installers were all very professional”

“Helpful, friendly employees who know their stuff. Good selection of items.I had called the day before and consulted with a helpful employee over the phone.Then we went into the store the next day. The employee I spoke with was there and passed along information to the other employee who was going to be helping us.We made a major purchase-- a Traeger Grill-- and they worked with us to give us the best possible price and some discounted add-ons. The gentleman who helped us had experience with the product and went online to find out what he didn't know. That's professional.We got same-day, free delivery and used the app to get tons of reward points that we can use for more supplies.All in all, an excellent experience.”

“Went with my pops..cause he was looking for a broom for outside.. of course we didn't know are way around the store so we ask an employee if f he can point the way. It course that's not only what he did, he also escorted us the way there.. they were out of stock in the front. So he offer to check the back for us.. I'm didn't catch the workers name.. but he had great customer service. Let say all the employees there that night were a great help. And They were stocking that night.. so to stop what he was doing to help my pops is what a great customer service is about.. 5stars is just not enough.. should be ten.. thanks guys .”

“I bought a laundry utility sink online and store delivered. I couldnt open it for a month because I left on a trip 2 days after it was delivered. I was gone for one month. I opened it 5 weeks after i bought it. The cabinet was cracked down the side. very broken. I called the store and asked for a new one to be delivered. Customer service said, no, of course. I asked to speak to a manager. Cynthia set me up with a new delivery immediately. There was a small snafu but old one was picked up and new one delivered with in two days. Delivery folx were amazing too. Helpful and kind. I am so appreciative of good service!!!! Thank you Home Depot Las Cruces!”

“We just ordered a washer and dryer from Home Depot. They were having a 30% off sale so the price was awesome. I had purchased the professional install, but didn't realize that it came with all the parts I needed, so I ordered extra. I called customer service and they refunded me that same day which was really easy. On the day of my delivery I had a window of 11-3 and they were there before 12. The delivery people were only in my house for about 10 minutes, they were so fast! They checked all the connections and ran the washer and dryer to make sure everything worked. Really great experience and I'd recommend ordering large appliances from the Home Depot.”
