25-Nov-25: Whilst the older gentleman at the ordering counter was somewhat gruff, he was actually very helpful. The service was quick. My only concern: this was the first restaurant I have ever patronized, that did NOT have any type of hot sauce. That almost kept me from the high marks I gave this restaurant. I must add, the young red haired young man went out of his way to make certain I didn't forget to take my leftovers. KUDOS, to human kindness!

Wolf and Mermaid Enchanted Cafe

We are out-of-town visitors and happened on Wolf and Mermaid by chance. We got breakfast croissants and a couple of different specialty lattes. Everything was so delicious! We especially enjoyed the croissant sandwiches. The cafe atmosphere was great as well. The service was excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back the next time we visit Los Alamos!

During our visit to Los Alamos, we stopped at Sugar & Cream for an afternoon pick-me-up. This is a great location, within walking distance of all the cool sights Los Alamos has to offer. We ordered: - Ice Latte x2 - Cold Brew - Pesto Sandwich - Fruit Turnover - Chocolate Croissant They also have ice cream! There were lots of families stopping in for an afternoon treat. We didn't have any but I can't say I was tempted. The flavors looked delicious! I definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area.

Their food is always good, but Monday specials are my favorite. They have good green chile stew, carne adovada, and burgers. For catering the enchiladas are delicious! Breakfast burritos are great and don't send you to the bathroom, but there's no hash browns in these.
