“All around the plaza of Santa Fe are great shops with incredible carvings, arts ,clothes and jewelry. It was pretty and expensive, but Gallery Ethnica had much of the same items plus unique ones at incredibly lower prices (less than a third of what things cost on plaza.). Great shop, nearer the railyard area, a must stop.”

“This is an establishment in the community which makes everyone feel like they have arrived home …from the home baked cookies, meditation gatherings, connecting the community, personal gifts and the most beautiful home furnishings, accessories and jewelry. They can create one of a kind jewelry pieces as well. A must visit, I came from NYC and this gem has an ABC Carpet vibe in Santa Fe, not to be missed.”

“Like folkloric art, has plenty of choices to buy. Have been able to visit Mexico across the border in Texas in the past (all ruined because of the cartels), it was nice to see the variety of art for sale”

“Sissel's is an amazing Native American store in Santa Fe! I was fascinated at the quantity and quality of her extensive collection. We visited many stores in Santa Fe. Sissel's is one of the very best! If you are looking for something special, I bet she has it. Also her prices seem very good, compared to other shops in the Santa Fe Plaza area. Sissel was very helpful, patient and took her time telling us about several pieces. She is an excellent salesman and is very knowledgeable about her merchandise. She has a very large collection of jewelry and other Native American merchandise. Her pieces are authentic and of the highest quality. Sissel is the owner and has had her stores in Santa Fe for 36 years. Sissels is conveniently located very close to the Santa Fe Plaza, near the El Dorado hotel. My daughter and I highly recommend this store in Santa Fe!”

“The owner, Barbara, and her team are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Patient, too. Their selection of towels, linens, blankets, etc. is unparalleled in Santa Fe. And their seamstress can do anything! She made a bedspread for my four-poster bed from blankets that were just the right color and texture for my bedroom. I truly enjoy going to Pandora's.”

“This is one of our favorite spots to visit in Santa Fe. You get to see all the latest products, and the staff there is very helpful in pointing out features of different items and how they function. Also great to hear the background on how the different products were developed, which ones are newer or more popular. We bought many items to give away as presents to our kids teachers or coaches, as Nambe makes a great gift. One time we bought so much stuff there we filled up the whole back of the surburban, and even then they had to ship some items to us as we ran out of room!”

“I have visited many World Market’s from different states but this particular place stands out from the rest. The staff are very friendly and never had any issues even when my kids are walking around the unsupervised, granted they are much older but they are even treated with kindness. I will be visiting them in the future. Management keep up the good work!”

“Yes there are rugs sold here. But what brought us in were the colorful alebrijes displayed in the window. For the uninitiated these are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical (fantasy/mythical) creatures that help scare away bad spirits. They can be different types and configuration of animal. I enjoy the bright colors each is painted. There were additional Dia de Los Muertes representations, skeletons and sugar skulls. A nice selection of sizes. We haven't seen this type of selection anywhere else in Santa Fe. Prices run moderate to expensive. Even if you don't buy these are kinda cool anyway.”

“My wife and I had been looking all over for a southwestern style sofa for our family room. We were visiting Santa Fe and heard of Xanadu. Saw the perfect sofa in the window. Ordered one and all choices for style and fabric done on-line. Alan worked with us and we got just what we wanted. Excellent look and construction. Fits with our southwestern themed room. Thank you Alan and Xanadu Santa Fe”

“This is my first review ever of a business. We just returned home to Dallas from a long car ride to SF. After some exhaustion from the drive, we needed something uplifting. The biggest highlight of the trip was re-visiting CASA NOVA. After meeting Nelly and Natalie long before the pandemic, I hoped that their store would continue to thrive. And It did! They each have a sincere and joyful love of what their gallery offers…and just being in their presence was a comforting and uplifting experience. After many trips to SF over the years, most stores continue to carry the same caliber of antiques, Southwest-inspired clothing, jewelry and home furnishings, and of course, a plethora of world class art, but Casa Nova presented a fresh dive into South African artistry, clothing and home furnishings. The atmosphere is uplifting and colorful…the quality is first-rate. If you’re planning a trip there or even if you’re a denizen of SF, please Check out this special gem. ??”

“Visited Edition One Gallery while in Santa Fe with some friends recently and WOW. I walked into a rock n roll/music time capsule with incredible and inspiring prints of artists from Bob Dylan and The Beatles to Miles Davis and Bruce Springsteen and more! Pilar is amazing and so kind. We talked for hours. As a huge Bob Dylan it was a very special experience. I walked away with a number of prints and feel so blessed to have made the trip to Edition One. Pilar went the extra mile to work with me to get the purchase done! We had a blast. Don't think twice, go visit Pilar! You will not regret it. Cheers!”

“When I am in big purchase mode, I prefer as little or much sales staff contact as I need which worked fine at Ashley. When I had decided on the two pieces I wanted, of course the staff made the transaction as seamless as possible. When the delivery arrived, the team brought my new sofa and loveseat in and positioned them just where I wanted. Everyone from start to finish was polite, helpful and friendly. Perfecto!”

“Our go-to place for beautiful rugs at a fair price in a town filled with competitors. Ours give me joy every time I walk into our house which is the definition of a gift that keeps on giving. Recently we had two lovely rugs that had been soiled and mauled by puppies with substantial damage. Not only did they clean them to perfection but Gokay is some kind of wizard - or maybe just an old school artisan with mad skills - as I had to pore over them with my glasses on to even see where they might have been repaired. It was the best kind of magic trick and the price was beyond reasonable. Why would anyone go elsewhere?”

“This is a review for Nambé Customer Service, which of course is part of Nambé Off The Historic Plaza. Wifey had purchased a beautiful stainless steel kettle, the Boon model, in January 2022. Well lo and behold, the La Cornue stove, with its intense Frenchie flame, literally melted the lid handle a few months later. We lived with it for a while, but it was a bit wonky to use, since the handle had melted in a "tilted shape" and the lid was awkward. In November, wifey sent a photo to Nambé Customer Service, inquiring if the lid could be replaced. Guess what - they replaced the entire kettle! Shoutout to Vicki who took care of it immediately, and within 4 days, we had a new beautiful Boon kettle on our stove again. Yay and thank you Nambé!”

“Great selection of southwestern decor. Visited on multiple occasions and purchased several items, ranging from Mexican pottery, Oaxacan art, and local southwestern decor. Prices are a bit over the top, but not as high or overpriced as purchasing same item in the plaza. First visited approx. 20yrs ago, when prices were moderate, appears that inflation has taken a hit on the place. Still well work stopping. Will return again”
