“I saw this shop had 5 star rating all the way around and man I see why. What the people are saying on these reviews is true! I called them on a Friday to get an estimate for front brakes, rotors and an oil change. I dropped off my vehicle Sunday night and by Monday afternoon was ready to go! They noticed the front crankshaft seal was bad and it needed replacement. Scott called me to let me know to see if that was something I wanted to take care of as well. Which I really appreciate it so much. Most shops see if there's some else wrong with your vehicle and they fix it without telling you first. They are honest, efficient, work in a timely manner and the pricing is affordable. Definitely will send everyone I know that needs work on their vehicle their way! “We'd give 10 if we could. After our (former) 2021 Prius Prime was T-boned by a motorhome mounted on a Dodge Ram truck at 50 mph, we need a new car. That one was total - yet we walked away with only broken ribs. (Toyota's side airbags and emergency operator system worked perfectly).After other Toyota dealers harassing us with bait-and-switch offers for Certified Used Toyotas, which NOT Priuses, not small, etc., I put a call in to Waite Toyota in Waertown - about 5 hours from our house - on a Friday.Matt Spencer was the salesperson I reached, and he was a gentleman from start to finish. We drove home with our replacement 2021 Prius Prime (this happened to be an LE) Sunday. No upsells, no hassles about money or manager intervention, we got an additional 800 dollars off (we asked for 1,000 off) a good 2021, just like the car that had SAVED OUR LIVES, and in a safe, BRIGHT color that can be seen in all weather. All paperwork, taken care of fast. “It all depends on who you get to work with honestly.
I had my car repaired here in March of this year, and immediately after getting it back I was having issues with my keys not working.
When I originally called I was told that it was not related to the repair; but they would look into it and call me back. I never received a call back, and even when I called following this, still never got a response.
Nine months went by, and I finally got a response from them but this was following me driving the hour and a half and showing up to find out what was going on.
Today I come for my appointment, and the lady that comes out tells me that they’re still going to look at it, but again the issue was NOT related to the repair, there just wasn’t any way. She claimed that the issue was existent prior to me dropping off the car, but seeing as the car was four months old, that was not the case. To which I responded with “well it happened only after I came to pick up my car, it was fine before dropping it off”, to which she became abrasive and insisted that it wasn’t on them but she’ll take a look after trying to say that she wasn’t informed of any of this (which I had never spoken to this woman, so why on earth would a lack of communication within the company be on the customer?). This woman took my keys and went outside for all of two minutes THEN walked back through the lobby without acknowledging my existence and very loudly (for everyone in the lobby to hear) slamming me into the ground and saying nasty things about me to someone on the phone until she was in the back room. (Again after waiting for NINE MONTHS for even a response).
Some time goes by, and the manager Josh comes out to talk to me. Josh then took multiple hours out of his day to figure out the issue and repair it without a single complaint.
And before you ask…yes the door/key issue was 100% related to the original repair.
If I had not seen Josh today and he had not figured out the issue, I would’ve not been able to write a negative enough review…from poor customer service to very blatant and, in my opinion, disgusting treatment from someone who should’ve wanted to help a customer.
I get it, some people are rotten and probably make the customer service industry MISERABLE (I do understand-I worked retail, as a vet tech, and now I work with children as a nurse), but that was completely uncalled for and very disrespectful.
I’m glad Josh could get it turned around though!”
“If I could give this place 10 stars I would..to me 5 is not enough. Shawn has the best customer service me and my husband witnessed since we moved here from Maryland. We were having car problems and needed a rental to get us through the weeks so my husband and I can get to work till our car was finished. He understood our troubles and helped us and worked with us so we wouldn’t be stuck between a rock in a hard place. He was very informative about Watertown and where to go or what we needed to do in order for us to get our ducks in a row. Like I said we just moved here and knew nothing about anything. But Shawn helped us every step of the way. Very nice and caring person. Since we moved down here Shawn is the only person we trust and not take advantage of the fact we were not from here. And for that we are forever and truly Grateful for his excellent hospitality and excellent customer service. Thank you for everything.”
