“I work next door at the Progressive building. They recently closed our cafe/deli so I thought I’d check out this place. Turns out this little gas station makes some great sandwiches. Staff is always pretty chill. They have a little checklist you fill out to order your sandwich and they put it all together fresh. I was surprise the quality is better than some sub shops. Definitely a great stop for lunch.”
“I come here frequently and the cashier/owner is very friendly. I normally come after work to get either energy drinks or snacks. Sometimes I end up getting a small dinner. They also sell alcohol tobacco and THC products. I enjoy coming in and chatting with the cashier/owner if there's a chance.”
“Can you be addicted to a gas station? Well I am addicted to this gas station. I live near Rotterdam and everytime I do a showing for a home or apartment in or near Albany I stop at this gas station on the way back home. They have the widest range of beverages so many coconut, pineapple, and other fruit juices! But best of all NO attitude. That’s right clerks with good vibes who aren’t grumpy about having to work lol. I grab some juices and gas it is always quick and easy.”
“Not bad li'l independent fillin' station with light convenience...chips, sodas, blunts, beer, newspapers, coffee, etc. Very clean anytime I pass by, and the staff are local. Not at all the sleazy vibe some inner city independent gas stations would have.”

“Consistently great gas prices, and an absolutely amazing beer selection for a small convenience store! They don't just have IPAs and DIPAs either, they have stouts, sours, etc, and some higher end beers as well. They carry a good selection of local products, too. Definitely worth a trip to check it out!”

“I'm very happy with this shop - I needed some suspension work and they were able to fit me in the next day. They showed me the part needing replacement, explained why and kept the scope of work confined to that repair. I definitely recommend coming here!”

So three different people tell me that while in Albany, I have to try Stewart's ice cream.
Then I see that they all appear to be gas stations. Looks very un-good.
The chick working the counter had the patience of a saint. Cheerfuly handing over spoons to sample.
The ice cream is crazy good. Like probably the best I've ever had good!
It's softer, like ice cream that's been left out for 10 minutes to soften. There are no 'ice crystals'. Just buttery smoothness.
Maybe think of the flavor intensity of Gelato, but smooth like soft butter.
Wow, I'm sold.

“I stopped in there a couple of wks back. y there's a Baghdad brutha there. He was rude as H***? ?I told him about himself y The White Boy Roy with the tats was chill y had great understanding of what was up. He helped me y send me on my way. Oh, White Boy Roy was a cutie!???✌️”
“I visit this Stewart's more than the others as it is close to me. I get gasoline here a lot also. It is a smaller Stewarts and does not have as many products, like others, like the one on Fuller road. The staff is very friendly and upbeat. I sometimes get a pastry, and diary products, and sometimes pay my taxes by buying a lottery ticket. What i like best is the meatballs and sauce. Hard to believe but the sauce and meatballs are very good. I know they must be packaged. But they can pass for hand made. The sauce is a little sweeter than I would like and probably contain a bit much added sugar, but they do make a good meatball sandwich.”

“Depending on what time of the day you go will determine whether or not you get good service. There are a few women that work here that know what they're doing. The rest of the staff are clueless and could care less. I went in one evening and my total was $19.19. I gave the man $20.25 so my change would be $1.06. He asked me why I gave him the quarter and I replied because I don't want all that change back. He actually argued with me, rang in $20.00, gave me 81 cents back and kept my damn quarter. I was livid and spoke to the manager the next morning. If it wasn't so convenient, I'd find somewhere else to go. For the most part it's usually quick and is very convenient though. I just can't stand when someone tries to argue a moot point. He was wrong and still argued with me.”

“I stopped by the Mobil in Colonie last week, and overall, it was a solid experience. The station was clean and well-maintained, with plenty of pumps available, so I didn’t have to wait. The staff were friendly and quick to assist when I had a question about the air pump. The convenience store inside had a decent selection of snacks and drinks—perfect for a quick grab-and-go. Gas prices were competitive for the area, which is always a plus. My only minor gripe was that the coffee selection could’ve been fresher, but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. I’d definitely swing by again when I’m in the neighborhood—reliable and convenient, 4 stars!”

“This is a Stewart's Express which is a new type of store for Stewart's, started about 2 years ago. It's their smaller facilities, very conveniently located. These locations don't serve ice cream. And they have much more limited fresh prepared food. Limited sandwiches, no hot soups chili, hot dogs,chicken nuggets, etc they don't have any of those because it's a smaller building. But they have the basics and they are in great location and I really love this new place near my home. They have the Stewart's ice cream milk dairy products etc. Plenty of beverages snack foods etc. And they have gasoline pumps too.”
