U-Haul Moving & Storage of Albany offers truck rentals, trailers, cargo vans, and self-storage, along with moving boxes and online reservations. Reviews note that the staff can provide impressive and helpful service, with some going well above expectations to solve equipment issues. The after-hours drop-off is also appreciated. However, there are consistent reports of frustrating wait times due to insufficient staff at the counter, especially at the beginning of the month. Some customers who made online reservations still faced long waits and had to repeat their information. Major concerns were also raised about vehicle safety, with some rentals reported to be in need of repairs, having issues with lights, wipers, acceleration, and tires. While some management receives high praise for superior customer service and resolving issues, the experience with equipment and wait times can be very inconsistent.
I had a fabulous experience. Staff was professional, courteous & very helpful.

We rented a truck to use as storage alongside our school for a yard sale the next day, and it worked out perfectly. The truck was clean and in excellent condition. Jade checked us in and out and made the whole process seamless. Thanks, Jade and U-Haul!
