I especially want to recognize one young man whose name I wish I knew. He stands out. He is knowledgeable, patient, resourceful, and has an impressive ability to understand what a customer needs and find the best way to help.
I have a traumatic brain injury, and as a result I can sometimes be slow processing information or forgetful. Even with a long line of customers waiting behind me, he has never once lost patience, rushed me, or made me feel lesser than anyone else. He simply gives me the time I need and helps me get things done. That kind of respect, kindness, and understanding means more than I can articulate.
There was a customer who came in while I was there, he must have had hundreds of pounds of items of ship. He came in with a dozen or more containers. You could tell he was on overwhelm and becoming frustrated.The young man defused the situation immediately- offering the man water! Just so smart, strategic and kind!
He has a natural ability to lead. If he is not already in management, he should be. I could easily see him overseeing multiple locations as a regional manager. UPS would be wise to recognize his talent and give him opportunities to advance.

I was there in the morning last week. There was at least 6 people ahead of me then eventually some behind me. He was alone in the store but maintained a great attitude. He directed some people to the kiosk for Amazon returns. He took care of everyone’s needs calmly and politely. My intent was to pass it on to close family & friends. Her experience in 2005 being run over by a company pick up truck changed her life for the next 20 yrs as she faced a court case, continuing to enjoy life, her determination to maintain her health even though she could sense it deteriorating. I wanted to incorporate relevant photos. Kenny was so solicitous and sympathetic, he had tears in his eyes and his ongoing texting was more than appreciated. “I ordered postcards online for same-day printing from this Staples location, but one of the printers was unexpectedly down. Jessica from the print department called me promptly to explain what was going on and offered several helpful options for getting my postcards printed and shipped. She even kept me updated on the possibility of a repair later in the day.
Although I ultimately decided to cancel the order since it wasn’t urgent, I was genuinely impressed by the communication, professionalism, and care I received. We needed to ship the contents of my daughter’s 1-bedroom apartment cross country and Bryan was helpful on the phone before I arrived —suggesting the best times to come and to ask for him when I got there. He really put me at ease. He was so very helpful when I arrived, and took great care in the processing of 27 boxes. He also brought me a chair and I plugged in my phone when it died. I highly recommend this location for shipping…Bryan and his team were so professional and kind. Side note: I learned the hard way that it doesn’t make sense to use the UPS at the Staples Store for a serious shipping project.”
