“The nicest people work there! Neat, clean & organized with plenty of stock and large variety. The prices are fair and the quality of their inventory is excellent!”

“In October, my wife and I ended up choosing Sunnyside Gardens for some fall fun with our baby following a recommendation.
We were excited about the fall festival with their fairly priced pumpkins, cute photo opportunities and how you only had to pay for activities you did (we did the hay ride) rather than a large entrance/ attraction fee. There was also a Jack-O-Lantern exhibit which was beautiful!
Nice size parking lot but it was super crowded when we went.
We look forward to coming back for the winter holidays!”
“I have been using Jan's Florist for almost 40 years and have never been disappointed. I wondered how it would be under new ownership and am happy to say the quality is still outstanding!”
“I was looking for perennials and bulbs, even though the season for planting is starting to end. I was able to get a good deal on a nice German Iris, and the bulb selection was small, but quite varied. I'm thinking of returning for some more bulbs soon. And they even had a friendly orange and white cat that greeted me on my way in!!! Cute!!!”
“I purchased 2 beautiful potted plants from Hewitts in Wilton for the urns at my Dad's graveside. I went to water them the next day & someone, umbelievably, had stolen one of the plants. Very upset, I went back to purchase another. After telling the manager what happened, he generously & kindly gifted the plant to me. I do a lot of business at Hewitts & I am always happy with my purchases. I recommend that you bring your business there, as well, for great personal attention for your planting needs. (I'm sorry I didn't ask his name, but he is always there willing to help)”
“Home Depot is like a very large hardware store in my area for those who may not know what this place, it is filled with pretty much anything & everything that you could possibly think of. The only thing it isn't filled with is employee's which is the reason why it lost the star. I was able to find everything I needed, but it was because I had to search up and down each aisle looking through every little nook and cranny trying to find exactly what it was that I was looking for because I did not know this store. They do not have a designated person in one single spot they have people walking around all over the place and they always seem like they're too busy to help you. The store when I went in there did seem well kept, at least for a big Warehouse type of building and there was somebody going through while we were there washing the floors with a for washer which to me was kind of odd in the middle of the day which is a nice slip hazard, but if that's the way the company does their business then, to each their own. I would only ask that they would put more people into their departments, so that they would be able to get more help when people need them. I understand that this is a trying time but, even before covid-19 this was something that they struggled with. Overall though, it is a decent place to get what you need for your workplace, construction job, or home repairs at decent fair prices. So if you feel like there is something on your list that needs to get done this would be an excellent place start looking. Thank you so much for listening.”
“I have had only good experiences with the staff. The place is a bit nostalgic for me but it's rather heartening to see the place has changed very little overtime.”
“Purchased a Weber 315 LP gas grill today. Chris was outstanding and helped with the sale. The store manager and cashier Patty were excellent to also work with. I had tried to purchase a similar grill at Lowe’s but the supervisor was a jerk. They helped me load it in my car and the process was so easy. Thanks very much!”
“A great place to shop. No assistance needed. Look, touch n decide. Friendly people around. Great service n location with plenty of parking. Close to all other shopping. Visit once n experience the best..”
“I am absolutely obsessed with this nursery! Every time I go there, every single employee is helpful and kind and as knowledgeable as it gets for this area. I even overheard a conversation between an employee assisting and elderly gentleman with finding a specific kind of tree and she informed him that this specific tree that he's describing is actually Considered invasive for upstate New York and because of this they do not sell that specific kind of tree and I would like to say a couple things about that: first I love that this employee was able to determine what tree he was talking about just from a description of how it leaves look during the year and throughout the year. Second, I respect and appreciate and support their commitment to prevent preventing invasive species from being re-introduced or introduced again by gardeners in the area. The roses that I selected were very fragrant and healthy and transplanted seamlessly into my garden. Likewise, they were not overly expensive, which can sometimes be expected from small business nurseries (no judgment, it's just the usual and it's understandable) each rosebush was in I think a 3 gallon pot and they were $63 each. The combination pot that I purchased was 20% off During Memorial Day weekend and its original price was $32. I was definitely pleasantly surprised at their selection of combination pots that included more than just the typical pansies. Overall, I will definitely be shopping here for all of my gardening needs going forward!”
