“Burner Hardware store in Burnt Hills. This nook of a store is actually large. The isles (see pics) are full and the merchandise new. All the cabinets, floor, counters and shelves are kept primo clean. The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere but buying from a town shop, is always fun. A star removed for strange change of shift at like 2:50, afternoon. Review: 4”

“We could drive 3 miles to an Agway close to us. We instead drive 33 miles to get our supplies from them. They are the best people and truly care about their customers. They make us feel like family and when they ask how we’re doing they mean it and we know we can tell them the truth, whether it’s a good day or a not so good day. I would highly recommend getting your supplies, your feed, your tools, anything you need for your house or farm that they sell. Thank you to Mike and everyone there that have always been amazing people!!”

“Always great service when I go there smaller than the bigger hardware stores like Lowes and home depot however they make excellent use of there space and literally have everything you could possibly need it's a lot closer for me then heading all the way out to exit 15 when I could shop locally right here in saratoga they do have a lumber yard on site also prices are relatively competitive and they have alot of long term employees and that says alot about how they run there company I have grown accustomed to seeing these people over the years and it makes me feel very comfortable shopping in that environment.”

“I’m a huge fan… I have always “stopped by” when it’s convenient, but now I will make it a point to support. I had such a great experience with Jeff in the paint department today. He made sure he did the right match on multiple paints based on me choosing interior colors for exterior paint. He was so nice and helpful! There’s honestly no other reason to go elsewhere for paint!”

“I had to call and place a pretty small order for some plywood and a couple of other things. I'm not experienced with construction / home improvement projects and could only share what someone had suggested I needed. Even though my order was pretty small, from start to finish, everyone I spoke to was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, pointed me in the right direction and gave good advice. And then, they called me back to say that everything I needed was in stock at a closer store, and I had my delivery within 3 hours of placing the order. Completely satisfied with the entire experience.”

“Milton Allerdice is my favorite store. And I'm very familiar with where to find most things Today I needed a wide variety of items, all were things I haven't purchased there before. I walked most every aisle then finally gave up and went to the front desk to ask for assistance. I was skeptical when I got there, the only 2 at the desk were very young, maybe 20ish and I've never seen them before. I had already looked at the website and knew they were there somewhere. I asked one of the young men where 3 items were. Without hesitation, he told me aisle numbers and where they were in the aisle. I went and found everything I needed. When I checked out, he offered assistance to get everything from my cart to my car. I was impressed with their knowledge and customer service attitude. Thank you for everything Milton Allerdice and great job on your employee choices and training!”

“I have a few rental units and my contractors use this store even for rental turnover work. I use them when I have smaller projects and for my ow residence.Incredible staff and paint selection, best paint store I have been to. They also carry hard to find pro quality tools and supplies.Not cheap but their inventory is a good value for serious painters. I’m sure if you have any issue they will make it right…they have helped me out multiple times and I’m an engineer- so I know I can be challenging!”

“Home Depot is like a very large hardware store in my area for those who may not know what this place, it is filled with pretty much anything & everything that you could possibly think of. The only thing it isn't filled with is employee's which is the reason why it lost the star. I was able to find everything I needed, but it was because I had to search up and down each aisle looking through every little nook and cranny trying to find exactly what it was that I was looking for because I did not know this store. They do not have a designated person in one single spot they have people walking around all over the place and they always seem like they're too busy to help you. The store when I went in there did seem well kept, at least for a big Warehouse type of building and there was somebody going through while we were there washing the floors with a for washer which to me was kind of odd in the middle of the day which is a nice slip hazard, but if that's the way the company does their business then, to each their own. I would only ask that they would put more people into their departments, so that they would be able to get more help when people need them. I understand that this is a trying time but, even before covid-19 this was something that they struggled with. Overall though, it is a decent place to get what you need for your workplace, construction job, or home repairs at decent fair prices. So if you feel like there is something on your list that needs to get done this would be an excellent place start looking. Thank you so much for listening.”

“It was time to get another washing machine. I ran to Lowe’s and I think I found a good one. The sales man was super helpful and the setup the appointment, installation and removal of the old machine. I grabbed the 5 year warranty too (you never know what the future brings). So for at least the next 5 years I’m gonna be worry free with the washing machine.”

“I was greeted by Connie, asking how she could help. After telling her I wanted copy of key made, she directed me to the isle and said someone would be there momentarily. Nick said he would see if they had the one i needed and made a copy. Then he walked towards my car with me to make sure it worked. I told him to go ahead of me, saying he could check it and be back before I could get there with my walker. We had a great conversation, revealing his beautiful soul. The price was so low, I asked for more copies. Then he walked to the register with me, and Connie assisted my check out. What an awesome staff of true service souls!”

“I am a very amateur, aspiring-woodworker getting my garage set up for some beginners woodworking so I went to Lowe's in Halfmoon Friday morning. Overwhelmed by the drill bits selection I must've looked lost because my savior, Lowe's employee Nick, noticed I looked lost and asked if he could help with anything. I explained I am just starting out to get tools i need to build things - I explained the specific projects and Nick hooked me up. He didn't bombard me with things i don't need, he was patient and spent what I want to say was a good 30-45 minutes with me, helping me choose drill bits because i had no clue what to look for. he suggested items and explained the difference between an impact driver and a drill (i had no idea). He didn't talk down to me or make me feel like a "silly woman doing a man's job" kinda way. Nick was kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. I appreciate his patience and time he spent with me. He kept asking what else could he help me with, until I finally let him go. That's the way I like to feel as a customer walking into a place. Thank you Nick, you're the man!”

“Al was the most helpful person I have ever met. When I walked into the store and passed him he has a huge smile on his face, little did i know I would need his assistance buying a bathroom vanity that was out of stock in Clifton Park. He helped me pick it out and was the most kind and knowledgeable gentleman. Thank you Al! More should be like you!”

“This store is the benchmark for customer service . No matter how busy an associate is in any part of the store they will take the time to answer any inquiry or find someone who can. Even under these current stressful conditions a knowledgeable friendly staff member takes the time to help you undertake your next project. I witnessed this time & again since i began coming here in March 2020. I skip the place up the street because i feel welcomed here & know that with the guidance of any staff member in any particular department i’m in I will leave feeling confident.
