Two Way Brewing Company
18 W Main St, BeaconThis is the first brewery you see when you come off of the Beacon train station and you're walking towards the town . While doing a brewery personal tour I made it my last right before getting on the train. You know the old cliché, the best for last while this was actually the best brewery in my opinion, and Beacon. The inside is very inviting and there is a scent that permeates in the air that is very relaxing and inviting . The decor is great. Employees, friendly. And the beer amazing . Two Wash Tooth Of The Lion hit the spot from the flights I tried, it was my full glass pour . Love everything about this place and look forward to going back, do venture to this brewery in Hudson Valley !

The Beacon Daily
29 Teller Ave, BeaconIf you’re looking for a laid back spot to get some good comfort food I recommend this spot. Order at the counter restaurant, pick up your food and find your own table. Everything is in to go containers but you can sit and eat it here. Also I LOVE English muffins and they make their own in house. You can get a pack of 4 to go. SO GOOD!

Meyer's Olde Dutch Beacon
184 Main St, BeaconFirst of all, Albi is the ideal manager — he strikes the perfect balance between professional — he really knows how to run the place (why doesn’t anyone in the Hudson River Valley know how to run a restaurant??) and he is also super friendly, hilarious and is so attentive to each customer. The other employees I’ve met are all super nice and great too. This place is so solid and consistent without breaking the bank. The perfect go-to when you are so hungry and tired you can barely think or speak. They make it easy. Obviously very recommended!

Hudson Valley Brewery
7 E Main St, BeaconPretty good draft beers, really good prices compared to other breweries closer to NYC. If you like sour draft beers you'll love this place. Few options that aren't sour. There's a little food cart outside if you're super hungry and you can bring your own food too!

Melzingah Tap House
554 Main St, BeaconHigh quality ingredients cooked extremely well - everything tasted delicious and even my steak was cooked perfectly medium well but still moist and tender. Excellent selection of local and regional beers on tap. The menu has a wide range of options, many which are not common in other restaurants in the area. There are bar, diningroom, and an outdoor seating areas. It's a relatively small and very popular place so definitely make a reservation for busy times like weekends. By 6pm we overheard the wait for a table for 2 was over 1 hour. Slightly slow kitchen but the food is worth the wait. The two of us had the first dinnertime reservation (5pm) on a Saturday, and there were only two other tables of two people when we arrived, and it still took over a half hour for our order to get to our table (one sandwich and one steak plate). Our server was very friendly and accommodating; not quite as attentive as we had hoped, but this clearly was not her fault, it was due to how busy she was kept by her workload - she was constantly busy. Just before leaving, someone who I assume is a manager or owner came to talk with us and ask where we were from and how our experience was, that felt very nice! The background noise of everyone's conversations was exceptionally loud inside, so loud we couldn't hear ourselves talking, so, fun for a vivacious night out, less so for a quiet night out.
