Our boys, Diesel and Cooper, are energetic German Shorthairs, and Chris and Renee were incredible with them from the moment we arrived. They took the time to ask about each dog’s personality, likes, and quirks to make sure their stay would be as comfortable as possible. If you know GSPs, you know they’re Velcro dogs and a bit high-maintenance - so that attention to detail meant a lot.
Pickup was smooth, and I appreciated the updates about how the boys did during their stay. Both came home happy, well cared for, and major bonus - not smelling like a kennel.
A few helpful tips for fellow pet parents:
• Listen to Chris and Renee’s suggestions—they know their stuff.
• Bring an old dog bed you won’t mind losing, just in case your pup decides it’s a chew toy.
• Book early! This place fills up fast.
Diesel and Cooper will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

Vigneto Cafe
80 Vineyard Ave, HighlandCafe Vignetto is a family owned and run Italian restaurant where everything is made from scratch that will never fail to provide you with an outstanding dining experience. We came across it in listings on Google and Open Table, both of which listed it as "Exceptional" and they weren't kidding. We were greeted by a gracious and charming gentleman who happened to be the first cousin of the owner, who sai that he has been here over the past 10 years from Italy, and he made our entire evening memorable. This restaurant appears to have a core of regular customers, and if I lived in the area, I would be there often as well. It is located in a comfotable homey setting with dark wood and subtle lighting. The Menu is enormous, and features a first page of highlighted dishes, and between that and the remainder of the Menu, I would have been happy with many of the selections. Everything was prepared fresh to order, from scratch, and to perfection, with very generous portions. Each sauce was distinctly different and flavorful, and not reliant on a single house sauce as any other establishments would use. The service was friendly, courteous, attentive, and we were treated like family. At the end of dinner, we were presented with a dessert menu hightlighted with photographs of delights that all appear to be home made, like everything else there, so if you can, try to save some room.
