“Called Botnick to see if they had an oil change deal. They had a deal for $89.99. Tte guy I spoke with looked me up and asked if it was my 1st service because I have a new truck. I told him it was my 2nd service.
I go to pick up my truck and my bill is $240. Told me the special doesnt include diesel oil. That should have been mentioned when I setup the appointment. In my opinion this is bad business.
Ive changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars. The manager reached out and gave me a refund for the difference. I really appreciate him doing that. This is what business relationships are about.”
“Honestly one of my best experiences at a mechanic. My exhaust rusted towards the front, took a bump too many and separated. A colleague at work mentioned his car had a similar problem (being an older car in ny) and someone had recommended b and d to him. Ive had muffler work done at other shops in the past and I knew it was pretty likely someone could splice a pipe before and after the rusted section. When I finally had some free time I stopped in and explained my issue. I saw how many tickets there were ahead of me and figured I would need to come back a different day, but was told they would try to get it on a lift to check it out. Less than an hour later it was airborne and the tech says yup I can fix this for you, today, and it was cheaper than I expected. I could not be more happy. The shop is a bit unusual in that they dont take appointments and you access the office through the bays, just show up and explain your situation first come first serve. I was not sure how to feel about that, but they know their business and dont waste time. An hour and a half after walking in I was driving off the lot in peace and quiet. A bit unconventional sure but do not hesitate to give these guys your business, just plan accordingly. Oh no wifi and cell service sucks in this area.”

“I've been to quite a few garages, and like most people, feel as if I am getting the runaround. Not at Ray's. Had a problem that another garage (Firestone) for some reason or other, could not figure out. But Ray's did. And Ray explained it to me like I was 5, which helps completely, because I am not a tech. He took his time, got it done and no more problems. He is a busy guy, but worth it. Completely.”

“Grate place fair on price I take my car yesterday to change too tires and do the inspection and they only charge me 60$ for everything and Tommy tires try to sale me too used tires for $140 plus labor and taxes almost $300 for just 2 used tires🤨”

“There’s not enough thanks I can give to these guys. We were on a 1,000 mile trip moving from Vermont to Tennessee when the serpentine belt came off leaving us without power steering, an alternator, or air conditioning. We had everything with us, including our cat and a trailer full of our stuff, and we were hundreds of miles from home. I looked up the closest mechanic and this shop came up. I called and even though it was 4pm they said they could take a look and see what they could do. I limped our car to their shop and in minutes they diagnosed the problem being the harmonic balancer for the serpentine belt had given out. Within 2 hours they had the parts delivered and had us back on the road. This certainly wasn’t something I could fix at a gas station. I seriously have no idea what I would have done without their help.”

I called J&A and I was able to get my car in the shop in less than 24 hours and have my alternator fixed. Adam was professional, accommodating and very easy to work with. “Bob has been nothing but honest, trustworthy and reliable any time I’ve had to bring my car in. I was shopping for a new car mechanic after I was told it would cost almost 3,500$ to fix a headlight issue. Bob fixed it for a MORE than reasonable price. He has always just fixed the ISSUE, never has charged more and I have had no issues with anything he’s fixed for me. Today I came back for some belt replacements and he noticed my inspection was up, so he did my inspection for me, changed some license plate lights that I had forgotten needed to be replaced. I am not on top of my car like I should be but I can’t say enough good things about Bob and the service he provides! I know when my car is there, it’s in good hands. Finding someone who is genuine and honest nowadays is difficult. Bob is a great guy and runs a truthful business.”

Staff was willing to talk and explain the specifics of my repair in detail. Staff was down to earth and friendly. I was a customer in 1978 and immediately remembered how they solved my suspension problem then and went directly to them for this more recent repair.”

Ordered a replacement part and gave a fair estimate of the work. AJ the service supervisor was extremely helpful. I highly recommend this garage.”

“These folks take care of my vehicle inspections every year. They perform the service and never go looking for extra ways to pad the bill. Inspection? No problem! Just had a replace a license plate bulb and you are good to go. I love honest businesses. I will continue to use them as needed and highly recommend them.”

“Although I own a small Kubota tractor, I do not have the tools to remove the tire and wheel. I called and spoke to Talmadge tire telling them of my flat tire. They informed me of the possible price and told me someone would come by. Within a short period of time a nice young man Zachary came and helped me with my issue. The equipment he came with inflated the tire with no issue, then he asked some questions and resolved all my concerns. When he left my tires were inflated and I was back in operation. The company and this young man did a phenomenal job for me, I highly recommend them.”
