“Update: My initial review was very critical, but after speaking with the owner Shahid and the store manager Shamil, the dispute was resolved and the refund issued, as was promised. The manager especially was remarkably calm and level headed in hearing out both of our sides, then issuing a formal apology on his and the stores behalf, acknowledging that it was wrong that I was immediately labeled a scammer in front of other customers and my initial query about the phone screen damage not examined properly. I commend him for de-escalating the argument and offering a bottle of water to me so that we wouldn't just talk past each other like last time. I hope that the workers learn from this experience and implement better protocols: issuing receipts for all purchases, hearing customers complaints before jumping to the worst conclusion about them, and generally, being more amicable. Ultimately, though, everyone deserves a second chance and no more so than small businesses. I will be coming back hear to purchase phone accessories, wearables, and general consumer electronics, God willing. May God bless these Muslim brothers and make their endeavors more lucrative, as all Muslims would like for sincere brothers in business.”

“I'm honored to meet this guy today. His name is Juan. He is a representative of a Verizon and a simple mobile store located in whiteplains Rd. He is the definition of a textbook case of who represents a company not what the company represents. This man is passionate about what he does. He's well knowledgeable and well-informed. He's very patient, great listener, and very respectful. I have experienced a lot of customer service representatives but not one like this. Hopefully, he gets rewarded handsomely by the company he represents.Kind gestures go a long way.”
