“I have been to this UPS store so many times. It is the best of Brooklyn, you had competition, but, they closed that location on Jay street. The reason you hold the BEST title is at that location, it was one person, at your location it’s everyone there. I was feeling down, and having a horrible day. The guys made me laugh and smile. It was close to the time my husband passed, I was feeling low. You never know what someone is dealing with. Always be kind, considerate, and professional. The staff, was all that and more. “I have to tell you, this place was ON POINT. There was a line but it moved pretty fast and the employees were moving fast. I had a bass guitar I needed packed and shipped that is weirdly shaped and they took the time to look it up and find the correct box, special ordered it and made sure it was good to go. Really nice people are super professional.”
“I have used this place for shipping around 20-30 times. There is an employee named Brie that is very on top of things: astute, multi tasking, friendly, and efficient. I intend to try to come only on the days Brie is there--she goes above and beyond and earns her tips (even though it's probably over the top to pay $6 in tips for 5 minutes' work). I sadly can't say the same of any other employee I've encountered at Sandbox. One time an employee even lost her temper and started cursing at the woman in front of me. Brie is 5 stars. The other employees are 1.”
“If you live in the area and your time is money, I HIGHLY recommend Fulton sandbox. There is rarely a line and the girls who work there are nice and helpful. Prelabeled FedEx and UPS drop offs are free, USPS drop off is $2, label printing is $2, and use of their tape is $2. I would spend that $6 over and over again (or $4 when I remember to bring my own tape) than wait in the 30+ minute long line at the USPS down the block ever again. Because they’re a third party, be prepared for your package to take an extra day to ship. Otherwise this is the best place ever, can’t recommend enough. They charge for everything but that’s the price of convenience”

From the moment I walked into the store, both employees immediately greeted me and continued to warmly acknowledge every customer who entered. Their professionalism and positive attitude created a welcoming environment and set a great tone for the entire visit.
Mel went above and beyond to help me with my shipment. She carefully helped me select the box that was best suited for the items I was mailing, taking the time to ensure everything would fit properly and be protected during transit. She then personally helped me pack the items, box them securely, and tape everything up. Her knowledge, patience, and willingness to assist made the entire process quick and stress-free.
What stood out most was that neither employee simply completed a transaction—they genuinely focused on helping customers and providing excellent service. Employees like Mel represent the company exceptionally well and are the reason customers return.
I hope this feedback is shared with both team members and their management. Based on my experience today, they deserve recognition for their professionalism, initiative, customer focus, and positive attitude. Mel, in particular, demonstrated the qualities of someone who would excel with greater responsibility and leadership opportunities.
