Seminary Hill Orchard & Cidery
43 Wagner Lane, CallicoonMy friend & I ate dinner in the Tasting Room tonight & it was excellent. We had a flight of ciders (Tom's Beard outstanding) along w/ brats cooked in cider accompanied w/ delicious potato salad. Danielle was a friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful waitress, too. If you're in the Callicoon area, I highly recommend.

Western Inn
22 Upper Main Street, CallicoonMy wife and I were backpacking in the Catskills, she fell and suffered a dislocated and fractured shoulder. While she received care at Garnett Health Medical Center in Callicoon, I spoke with Irene at Western Inn. She helped me to book a room and arranged for us to pick up the keys and let ourselves in after hours (we didn't get to the hotel until after 11pm). Irene was super helpful and made everything smooth and easy. The hotel is lovely and the room was clean and comfortable, with free amenities like bottled water, snacks, coffee and tea. We regret that our stay was under these unfortunate circumstances, but we are grateful for the kind hospitality shown by Irene and the perfect accommodations. Highly recommended!
