10529 Main St, ClarenceJust an absolutely fantastic stay. No notes. Beautiful heritage home with an attentive innkeeper. Delicious rotating breakfasts. I was so pleased that the rooms had air conditioning as many other heritage hotels I’ve stayed at have not. The room was also stocked with books to read and old radio cassette tapes which was a lovely touch. I was surprised how sound proof it was as well. Once our door was shut we couldn’t hear anything from the rest of the hotel. We were also able to bring our dog, which was surprising for a heritage hotel. We celebrated the end of our honeymoon and my birthday here. It was my dream to stay at a heritage hotel for it, but we had been understandably struggling due to having our corgi with us. This place was a wonderful unique spot drenched in history and beautiful furnishings. We loved staying in Clarence Hollow, and spent most of our time in town for perusing the numerous antique shops near by. Highly recommend the Asa Ransom Hotel (soon to be renamed) for your next vacation!
