“Not to be believed. I bought an appliance from Plessers 2 years ago, it came with a 10 year extended warranty. It covers "major components". I don't think much of an extended warranty, It always seems there's a loophole around what might be covered. I have a Whirlpool full sized ventless dryer 220v. Regardless of the problem lately, I HIGHLY recommend this dryer. It started shutting off and giving a fault code, which turned out to be a faulty drain pump. I never heard of Plessers before, and their extended warranty uses "New Leaf", which I also never heard of before until I just viewed the warranty. I contacted "New Leaf", they arranged the repair, they sent "Sears Appliance Repair", and the drain pump was covered. Maximum stars to Plessers and New Leaf. Woohoo!!”

“I was in a critical, urgent situation with having to transfer from one homeless family shelter to another. I was in need of a rental vehicle & visited after much prayer. Thankful to Jesus who made the way and these associates that took care of my needs from my initial visit w/Yvette R. who reached out to ASM Eddie Ray with my request. Everything was setup according to my needs. Friday morning there was a slight issue but all was resolved within an hour prior to my arrival. Thank you to John & Diana in that department. “JAY'S APPLIANCE DELIVERS WITH EXCELLENCE!Yesterday afternoon 9/21/2023, I called Jay's to see if they could get a GE washer not listed on their website?Our washer took it's last breath that morning. Madelyn at Jay's answered the phone. I gave her the GE model I was looking for, and she checked to see if she could get it for me. Madelyn told me she could have it delivered the next day, the price I was given with delivery, install and removal of the old washer, which also included a new stainless steel hose setup was excellent!This morning at 7:10am I received a call from the delivery service saying the washer would be delivered between 8am-12pm, at 8:55am I received another call from the delivery service saying the truck will be at my house within the next 30 minutes. At 9:20am, the delivery truck was outside my door.My honey and I were worried the men would have a problem taking out and bringing in the new washer and installing it in the basement for us, another big concern we had was the men scratching up our new wood floors making this delivery. We are very happy to say ALL went very well, the two delivery men were true professionals, they knew exactly what and how to do everything with ease! This was our first time buying at Jay's Appliance, and because I knew what I was looking for, buying from my armchair was a breeze to do! For sure if the need comes up, we will shop again at Jay;s Appliance in Levittown NY. Thank you Madelyn at Jay's Appliance, for making this transaction go as smooth as it did for us!”

“Very happy with the effort the staff put in to find and order the part I was looking for. After GE was pretty much useless and implying I would need a much more expensive replacement option. I contacted Marcone and even though we could not find the correct part originally, the staff diligently researched for the correct part which cost much less than what I would have spend if I continued to work with GE. Will definitely work with the local supply store again if need be in the future.”

“I had a pretty good experience at this Home Depot recently while looking for a grill for my Dad for Father's Day. I am not a grill person, I cook like crazy, but indoors, zero grill knowledge. I used google to do some research but ultimately went to Home Depots website and looked up highly rated grills blah blah blah. My Dad had an old Weber and I had been told by countless people that Webers were the best so I knew that's what I wanted to go with. Came in and went straight to customer service for some assistance and a guy walked me over to the grills and we took a quick look. He gave me his recommendation and was knowledgable enough about which grill I should get. I went with the Spirit, their cheapest Weber option because I was told it's still a fantastic grill and through all the research I had done, that was what I was gathering as well. They didn't have any in stock and I certainly wasn't going to take the floor model, yeah right. So the guy helped order one from a different store and set me up for free delivery. The process was smooth and easy, he was a great help. Now because I'm a pain in the butt and super indecisive, three days later I changed my mind and decided I wanted to go with the upgraded version, the big dog, the Genesis. I came into the store and making the switch was also, very very easy. This time another gentleman assisted me and told me they had the grills built in the back and that one of those would be the one sent to my house. I was for sure not taking his word for it because as I had seen at other Home Depots, they put the grills out for people to open, mess around with, try out before purchasing if you will and I again, did not want a floor model. I voiced my concern and the guy assured me the grill was set up and wrapped in plastic ready for purchase. He even took the time to bring me in the back and show me for myself, which I really really appreciated. The grill was wrapped up nicely with tape to hold the wrapping in place and once I made my purchase, he wheeled the grill into the back storage area for me so that there was no confusion about whose grill it was. The home delivery was free as they were running a special for free delivery if you buy a grill over, I'm not sure exactly, I think it was $300 or so. So I did that. Since the delivery was free they give you a very wide time frame. I was told the grill would come some time between 6 am and 8pm, something like that. So basically I didn't leave my house all day and this was surprise so I had to make sure I was home. The delivery guys came around 2:30 and wheeled the grill out to where we wanted it. When we eventually unwrapped it there were a few scratches on the front of the grill, I wasn't happy about it but my Dad didn't mind. Little bit of a bummer. Overall my experience at this Home Depot was good and I was definitely dealing with customer service directly for these transactions. One big problem though, getting through to someone on the phone is a nightmare. I tried to reach the customer service desk for, a very very long time with no luck. I called the garden department, no luck, doors and windows no luck, you name it, I called it and no one answered. Probably should do something about that.”

“Home Depot is always a good place to shop for a variety of home decor, repair, DIY projects, and seasonal items.Being disabled I was glad the store had a number of electric ride-on carts charged and ready. I wish more stores would do this.”

“The great thing about this store is that they hire a lot of retired contractors who know what they are talking about, understand your home improvement needs, and what the best tools and materials for your job are. And, they are quick! You can spend your day off working on your projects instead of hunting and pecking through chaotic shelves or dealing with clueless salespeople.”

“Purchased Beats headphones for my wife and went in knowing nothing about them other than they can be pricey. The staff were extremely tentative and knowledgeable about the products they sell. They answered all of my questions and remained patient with me while I went back and forth about a dozen times debating on which pair would suit her needs best. The sales rep ultimately convinced me to purchase a mid-priced model as it more than exceeded her needs. Turned out it was an excellent purchase and these were the right headphones because she hasn't taken them off since! To make my experience even more pleasant, I've gotten peace and quiet for the duration of the time those headphones are on! Lol-give these guys a raise!”

“I have had great experiences working with RTV for multiple appliance repairs. They are honest, transparent and upfront about what is involved in any repair. The owner, Andrew, is an exceptional technician and incredibly knowledgeable in the trade. Sometimes the initial attempt at a repair are not always “the fix” but RTV has always followed through and ultimately resolved the issue. I’ve realized that appliances today are far more complicated than machines from 20 years ago and I am glad to have a company like RTV that I can call for help whenever I need them.”

“I just purchased a GE refigerator from the Bayside, NY, location and the salesman, Louis, and the delivery team (I wish I had asked their names) were excellent. Once purchased I received emails immediately from Louis with receipts and delivery times. The fridge was delivered in a few days and I received the fridge within the promised 3-hour delivery window. Both delivery men were very professional and careful negotiating the fridge up the 3rd floor walk up. Kudos to PC Richard for a great experince. I will be going back to this location in the futire.”
