JJ Pet Supplies
48-09 108th St, CoronaAfter dealing with another place that flaked out on me, I decided to give this PetSmart a shot for my dog’s grooming. Figured it was worth a try since they actually answered the phone when I called. Set up an appointment, and they followed through without any hiccups. The whole process was smooth, and my pup looked great afterward. It’s nice to have reliable service over here in Bayside. Definitely glad I switched.

Tropical Pets Inc.
37-65 103rd St, CoronaI got my beautiful Bombay cat from this store almost a decade ago. He is my first pet. Don’t shy away from purchasing an animal that will accompany you for a significant portion of your life. It’ll be so worth it. My quality of life has improved significantly since introducing him into my home.

Pet Grooming

pretty pretty paws
103-16 Corona Ave., CoronaDanny has been our groomer since the very first day we brought Mily home, and we truly couldn’t ask for anyone better. He is incredibly patient, gentle, and attentive with every dog he cares for. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does—Mily always comes home happy, well-groomed, and relaxed. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. We’re really grateful to have Danny!

Leticias Restaurant
40-32 National St, CoronaGreat Ceviche! Good portion compared to other places. I always enjoy my ceviche from here and the other food on their menu.

Queens Night Market
47-01 111th St, CoronaGreat time and not is priced above $6. Very kid friendly and they were even screening the World Cup. Would bring a picnic blanket for a more relaxed hang.
My only complaint is that the sound for the game was extremely loud and then they also had bands/djs performing. The combination of the loudness from both gave me a headache.

Benfaremo- The Lemon Ice King Of Corona
52-02 108th St, CoronaFinally got the chance to check out this famous spot. Right on the corner of the block so you can’t miss it. Love the celebration of the Knicks that is posted all over. When you get to the counter it is almost overwhelming to see all the flavors listed on the board. For my first time I had to have the cantaloupe while my partner had the lemon. Both were incredible. Be sure to have cash to be able to have this sweet treat. Also note that there is no mixing of flavors! Have to try mango next time.

Tamale cart
103-17 Roosevelt Ave, CoronaThis place has been on my to do list. Ever since I heard about Evelia's food cart, I've been meaning to make the trip out to Queens to eat her tamales. So so proud and happy that she was able to open her own shop. The shop itself was cute. Love the atmosphere and the staff members were all very lovely. You can't beat those prices and I tried a variety of tamales. They were all delicious.

Food arrived quickly and warm - thanks to my Uber Driver.
Chicken Sope, Al Pastor taco, and huarache was flavorful, and the masa was slightly crispy --which I like. ?

La Cabaña
39-17 103rd St, CoronaChecked out this Dominican spot in Corona and it's definitely a solid, no nonsense joint. The food tastes completely authentic, and while pretty much everything is fried, it hits the spot. I had the mofongo de pescado and it was delicious, plus the salami and Dominican sausage were really good too. The service was quick and efficient, and the prices are very fair. It’s just a great local place to grab a fast, satisfying meal.
