It was a really good size & I didnt feel guilty eating it afterwards. Will definitely be coming back & aiming to try everything on their menu! Staff was really warm and welcoming!

Ordered two desserts. Black bean with sticky rice and i dont know whats they called it this tiny bites colorful shaped with mung bean inside. The black bean with sticky rice was so good. Might be too sweet for most people, I recommend to share, bcos it will be too much and too sweet for yourself. The tiny colorful bites with mung bean inside, eeuwwwww. BIG NO. It has this fragrance taste like toilet freshener. I cant.

To start, the complimentary roasted peanuts are made in house… so good!… and not salty. One of my favorite dishes is the stuffed eggplant / stuffed peppers and tofu. Their Peking pork chops is one of the best around. Other family members love the eggplant with dried fish (not my thing). Other great dishes; shrimp with walnuts, beef chow fun, beef tendon casserole, water spinach, tofu and codfish casserole. Everything so good!!! Prices are reasonable.

82-18 45th Ave, ElmhurstVirtually every dish was a hit here, you just have to know what to order. Amazing Southeast Asian flavors with a number of tastes for different pallets. Curry laksa and the fish cakes were my personal favorite, as were the flat noodles. My friend said to avoid the skewers, just so you know I'm not being biased! Definitely will come back here, the service and the atmosphere makes you really feel like you're in a homey place.

82-84 Broadway, ElmhurstI came here last year and thought it was just okay, but this visit was a completely different experience. The food was delicious, flavorful, and much better than I remembered. Maybe they changed owners or brought in new chefs, but something has definitely improved over the past few months.
The Hainanese chicken was cooked perfectly—soft, tender, and juicy. Unlike Taste Good around the corner, it wasn't overcooked or dried out.
The Char Kway Teow was also excellent. The noodles weren't overcooked or falling apart like they are at some other places. It had a beautiful dark color, was packed with flavor, had a nice amount of wok hei, and finished with a subtle hint of spice.
The Mapo Tofu was thick, rich, and spicy. They use fresh silken tofu and prepare it in their own style without the traditional numbing Sichuan peppercorns. It was still very good, although I personally prefer the version with the numbing spice.
The Belacan string beans were full of flavor. You could really taste the spices, and they had just the right amount of heat.
The chicken-flavored rice was another highlight. It wasn't just yellow from food coloring—you could tell it was cooked with the broth from the Hainanese chicken, which gave it much more flavor.
Overall, I had a great experience, especially considering this was takeout. Compared to other Malaysian restaurants nearby and in Brooklyn, this is easily one of the better places to go for authentic, flavorful Malaysian food.
