Pet Facilities in Jackson Heights
Pet Grooming

PETISA SPA
72-09 35th Ave Ground Floor, Jackson HeightsThis is my go-to groomer because they do a great job for a reasonable price and they’re always able to fit me into their schedule. I love the bandanas they send my pup home with! My dog is nervous and they are able to take care of him. The reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because they are a small shop so it doesn’t have a modern vibe and they don’t take cc.

Pet-Friendly Restaurants

The Queensboro
80-02 Northern Blvd, Jackson HeightsOutside of a chance encounter in Japan a few years back, I haven't seen my high school classmate @toneyloo in probably over 30 years! I told myself that if I ever got out to New York, a visit with Tony is a must, where he owns and operates his own award winning neighborhood restaurant in Jackson Heights called @thequeensboro. I was so happy seeing how crowded and well received it was when we arrived. No surprise, seeing how super onolicious everything was, including scratch made spam, Garlic Clam Bread, Linguini with Shrimp & Chorizo, Cheeseburgers, Pork Adobo, Monkfish Piccatta with Lemon, Caoers, Parsley Potatoes, Roasted Jerk Chicken, Chocolate Pudding, Creme Brulee, and more! Next time you visit New York, support this local boy doing good in the Big Apple. The Queensboro is a definite must stop! 🤤🤙🏼

El Chivito D'Oro
84-02 37th Ave, Jackson HeightsPretty decent meat, only 4 stars because of inconsistency, will update if in future visits they maintain this quality. Ordered the civito platter for 2, meat tender and not dry, service was quick and attentive.

Laly's Restaurant & Agaveria
75-19 Roosevelt Ave, Jackson HeightsGreat food! I loved the Buffalo Wings. They tasted great and had a nice kick to them if you're looking for something spicy. The nachos and chicken tacos were delicious too! We had the "Dos amigos" drink and it was strong and tasted great with the hint of mint. Our servers were warm and very attentive. At night, it plays Spanish music and sporting games are played by the bar. Great place to grab drinks at or, sit down for good Mexican food.

Mamá Rosa Restaurant
80-18 Northern Blvd, Jackson HeightsI went for the first time and loved everything! The staff were friendly and attentive. All our food was fresh, flavorful, and artfully presented with generous proportions. The table side guac was so good and the preparer was very charming.
The musicians were a lovely addition to the good time we had. El Coyote has a warm vibe and attention is paid to detail.
I’ll be back next time I’m in town!

Amdo Kitchen
37-59 74th Street, Jackson HeightsFirst time trying momo, Amdo was recommended by a friend in the neighborhood (Jackson Heights) and it was love at first bite! Spicy doesn't agree with me so I opted for the dumpling drenched in white sauce and topped with the radishes. This food truck is clean with a little counter to eat at, and the chef/host was lovely and kind to me as a first-timer. Got the beef momo, will be back for those and to try the vegetarian. Had a little trouble finding it after getting off the train-- the neighborhood was bustling on a Friday night. Popped into the Indian grocery after to grab some snacks + dessert, and all in all it was a great experience. Definitely a local staple, but even if you're not in the neighborhood, this might be worth a stop for some excellent eats!
