“Amazing place for anyone who loves to cook. Smaller selection than US supermarket but they have smaller portions of vegetables and the seafood looks fresh. Smaller meat department. This place is especially great for those looking for southeast Asian ingredients and ready-to-cook curry pastes and curry powders. Lots of different Thai chili sauces, shrimp pastes, Indonesian crackers, noodles. Coconut milk at half the price of US supermarket!! Really fun to look around.”

“I didn't initially seek out this market while wandering the streets; it caught my eye when I saw blueberries for a dollar outside the entrance. Curious, I decided to check it out. Since then, I've become obsessed with their fresh fruit and pressed juices. I always thought New York was incredibly expensive, especially for food. I've often skipped buying fruits because they're usually pricey, and I'd rather spend the money on proteins.

However, this market is unbelievably affordable. Coming from the Southeast, where I usually shop at Publix, seeing dragon fruit for a dollar and giant watermelon slices for two dollars here is mind-blowing. They offer premade juices for under two dollars, and their special all-fruit, no-added-water juices cost between $3.50 and $4. My favorite is the carrot juice. They even make juices to your specifications; I often get a blend of carrots, ginger, and oranges for just four dollars. The container is huge, and I watch them press three carrots, a knob of ginger, and four oranges into my cup.

With the overinflation of everything, I felt compelled to share this find. Walking down the same street, I noticed that other fruit stores don't offer such affordable prices. This market is truly a hidden gem!

Here is an important tip: the fruit is very fresh, and thus, it does NOT last in the fridge for long (3 days). There does not seem to be as much preservatives that make it hold. This makes me a little more cautious about the fruit I've been buying from large supermarkets...

Also, look out for "Lucky" the store's loving cat ?‍⬛️”

“My mom and I have been to this place and that my mom drove me there and then parked in there and then went into the supermarket. There were lots of people there this is because it was the weekend and both of us bought many foods there like seafood, veggies, and others.”

“Someone brought this shop's pernil and rice with pigeon peas to a party. It's authentic and made me so happy to know there's legit Dominican food nearby. The pernil tastes good though don't expect it to be like your mom's at Thanksgiving. I'm planning on ordering from here the next time I get a craving”

“As a small, local grocery shop / supermarket it’s good. Given the location, I’d hoped for some Thai products, but it focusses more on mass market items. However, there’s a really good selection of Indian spices & rice. Clean & well-organised.”
