Sabay
7519 Broadway, ElmhurstCelebrated my boo's bday. Had a scare when we got there. A big "closed for private party" sign was on the door. But saw there was only 1 person eating at a table and a couple sitting at the bar. So we asked if the party was over, could we come and get dinner? Food was excellent, but I'm not sure if it was because we showed up late (8pm) or if it's just that old mom and pop shop vibe. Service was a bit ... let's say minimal. The prices were fair, and food/menu was good to excellent. So we would come back again for a very casual meal in the neighborhood.

White Castle
89-03 57th Ave, ElmhurstI can't believe this white castle in queens is still around and I am glad it is cause my guilty pleasure craving is running wild and even better no wait on drive thru . They ain't called murder burgers for the wrong reasons and that's cool cause 5 white castle burgers with no onions, a small order of chicken rings (luv them ) and a large diet coke is going to count as my early lunch and afternoon snack till dinner time . They have the usual menu with a few newbies like veggie burgers , etc, but let's keep it simple as my tummy will rumble like the jungle in less then an hour . No regrets for my guilty pleasure from white castle and it's good to be the king .4 stars on my yelp meter .
