“I've had the pleasure of having my vehicle fixed on a number of occasions at North Coast Auto. Very professional service individuals who took care of what needed fixing. I originally went in for to have them look at what I thought would be a new muffler installation. It turned out that they could fix the muffler without charging me 1400 for a new catalytic converter and muffler system. I immediately liked these guys when I realized that they just saved me $1,000 instead of charging me. Then I went in again for a because my check engine light was on. It turned out to be nothing and I don't even think they charge me for that visit. All in all, I just trust that North Coast Auto will take care of me and my vehicle and I don't have to worry about them overcharging me. It's good to find a mechanic you can trust who is also courteous and professional. Highly recommend”
“I made an appointment 3 weeks ago for this morning at 8AM. I needed tires and complete brake work. They gave me an approximate price for the tires as well as the brake job, which I approved. The invoice amount came out about $75 shy of that quote.
We'll see how it is in a month. Brakes are silent and all feels correct. Tires look good, tread pattern looks good on what they recommended.
Good quality work, good value for my $. Happy at this point!
In regards to parts cost I looked at the breakout and figure that they charged a fair margin.

Had taken my Subaru Forester to my regular mechanic for exhaust system work, but a new flange needed to be welded onto the CAT converter and my guy doesn't do welding. He recommended this shop to do the welding.
They were willing to do the work --- in spite of the fact that they weren't going to get to do the rest of the exhaust work --- contacted my mechanic to make sure that what they were doing would work with what my guy would do later, and completed the job in a timely fashion and at a fair price.”
“Hands Down the Best repair shop around. Great people, they know their stuff. I had a problem with the car, called them and even though they were extremely busy, they found time to look at the car and it was a minor issue and they fix it right then. “2024Q1: My BMW racing buddy heard about Baris from a compatriot at our local BMW Club. He started getting his Bimmer tires here, and, based on his many good experiences with Baris Auto, he turned me on to this place. My daughter's fiancee had taken her car to his family's 20-year relationship mechanic, and, just by eye they said they would fail the car without new tires. They did the exact same thing to him with his NYSI the week before and he had to buy a set of new tires from them. As a result of this delay, my daughter's inspection expired, which would give a dishonest garage the exact kind of leverage they would use to manipulate a customer into buying services beyond what they need. I had my daughter (a young single female without automobile knowledge -- the kind dishonest mechanics prey upon) bring her car to Baris for NYSI. Baris carefully measured the remaining tire tread and, according to the specifications in the law, passed the car. This week I had an identical experience with Baris' NYSI measurement of my brake pads. Upon seeing how the honest, by-the-book, vehicle service & customer service experts at Baris handled matters, the fiancee switched to Baris. He got his father to switch too. Starting with the BMW CCA racers, that's at least four new families and ten new cars for Baris, just by word of mouth.”
“My husband and I went all over the greater Rochester area shopping around for two vehicles, a pickup for him, and a small efficiency car for me. After getting the runaround from several other dealers including attempts to put us into some (very very) used vehicles for way too much, Sam at Hoselton got us into the exact BRAND NEW vehicles we both wanted, with little fuss and within our budget range. (And for less than the guy trying to sell us two used vehicles!) We have had our vehicles since July and August and I just had my first service and everything has been smooth sailing.
