“I live within the vicinity of this gym and have a membership with this gym for about 1.5 years, so it is definitely more value than anywhere else in the area, at least for my purposes and location. They have all the machines and weights I need, and their hours are quite good. One thing I would add that pay deduct points is that the basement gym sometimes leaks during rainy or snowy seasons and is closed somewhere from 11PM - 12AM based on the discretion of the building staff. You could always choose to park outside though. Additionally, what could make this place even better for me is opening 24/7, but I understand why they're not as nobody sane really goes from 2AM to 6AM.”

“I did not expect to love this place as much as I do— I’m more of a yoga person, but I also love barre and cardio dance, and FORM50 has some of those vibes. Make no mistake— this is a HARD workout, but if I know I have a busy week and can only exercise once, it’s going to be this. I’m grateful to the instructors for bringing maximum energy and paying close attention to every body in the room. Very talented staff. Adiba and Su give me life. Thanks so much!”

“The staff here are friendly and helpful, this gym is very welcoming! We were in town for a couple of weeks and got a week pass which is a great value. They have all the cardio equipment and weights we needed, with extra cardio machines on the upper floor. Location is convenient, go check it out if you are looking for a nice spot to work out!”

“I am part of their "little back dress" challenge and I'm loving it! The amount of support I receive from the coaches and members is incredible. Their support motivates me to keep giving my all to make them all proud. Being part of the challenge also comes with lots of perks, some of my favorite are the free cavitation sessions, personal training sessions, and a private ig chat with the other members. Highly recommend this challenge and the gym overall!”

“Amy at RB Fitness is the literal best! I’ve been training with her for about 2 months and it’s been bittersweet! She’s someone who pushes you and motivates you to keep aspiring toward your goal. She’s genuine and personable which is why I would recommend her to anyone who asks me where and who I work out with. “I've been going to this gym for over two years, and worked with their personal trainers and Pilates instructors during that time. They're all excellent and really experienced, and my body and fitness level has transformed under their guidance. Right now I'm working with Noel (Pilates) and Jared (personal training). Noel has been instrumental with my mobility, and Jared is a great trainer. He really focuses on form, taking adequate rest between sets, and impactful workouts. I'd recommend any of their trainers wholeheartedly.”

“Love this place. My membership is strictly for access to the gym not for the classes. The space itself is well kept and very open. It is perfect for a workout. I enjoy the easy access into the gym, simply open the door with my cellphone and get to work. I go in the early mornings and usually have the space all to myself and my tunes.Also Eoghan is awesome, he designed specific strength programs to improve my strength for my jujitsu training. I have nothing but positive things to say about Uptown Movement it is a really great place with wonderful people.”

“I did a 6-month program with Plasse and grew my strength more than I ever have in any class or at the gym. Dennis is thoughtful, kind, and paces everything well. Especially when you are new to heavy lifting like I was, it can seem intimidating at first, but Dennis breaks down every movement. And if you have been lifting for years, he will be equally great because he is a powerlifter and knows how to maximize potential. The environment is private and intimate - just a couple trainers and clients at a time. Highly recommend!”

“I recently joined Slope Fitness a month ago. It’s a good gym. Spotlessly clean (like perfectly, above and beyond clean) and never too crowded. It has all necessary equipment for lifting, cardio, foam rolling, etc. My only hope is that one day they get a hip thrust machine. I truly have no complaints and I enjoy working out here, whereas at other gyms I have felt stressed by crowds.”

Everything here is done with intentionality, from the way the space is designed, (and how freaking clean and organized everything is), to the programming of the workouts, to the community event planning, social media posts and goal-setting sessions. “What a unique CrossFit gym!The coaches, community, programming and space are all spectacular.I love to take class here. The coaches and community are all so friendly.There's strongman programming in the workouts a couple days a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays), which is pretty different and thrilling. After a couple of weeks here, we've done work with equipment like stones, sandbags, tires, sledgehammers and kegs. Not something you expect to see everywhere!I love the space and the big garage door. When it's open for some air or the light, it's so refreshing.So thankful that Dutch Kills is in the area.”

“ERICA!!!!!! I swear she was hands down the reason I'm coming back for real. Her class for the first time really had me rethinking life. 1st, I was like hmmmm this might be easy. I have done pilates and soul cycle, so lifting a little weights a BREEZE. Sykeeeee, this was a beginners intense class for glutes & quads. I did squat thrust 95lbs, I might say, and was very PROUD of myself. Overall, Erica, THANK YOU!! The fire on me today pushed me to book again lol.Noble, you are a true gem to the trooper facility from the moment you greeted me when I finished the class. I appreciate you for the tour also. The facility is located on the 2nd floor, so you ring the bell and enter the glass door, not the black door. Showers, bathrooms, and lockers are available. The gym is super clean, and trust me, you gonna need to sit, lol.”

What sets Forte Lab apart is the sense of community, it's the gym "where everyone knows your name".
