“The young lady who works there is very knowledgeable. I had called two different plumbers two times in the past 4 months and paid a total of $450 to unclog my kitchen sink. They did nothing. Just ripped me off and didn't address the issue. Before calling another plumber, I stopped by this store and the lady recommended a liquid to pour in the drain. I've never seen the sink work better in my stay of 10 months in the current apartment. She deserves recommendation.”

“I got two copies of a key. That works with no problems. Thank goodness for REAL hardware stores. You might think this is nothing big but this is to me. I went to a big chain store that made copies of my key that was too big for lock it wouldn't work then I returned them and got two more copies that didn't go into the lock whatsoever. Crazy right. Then I decided to Google hardware store. I called Brite Hardware and spoke with J. he asked me to describe the key. I did so. He said sounds like a regular key I should have no problems copying it. I went to the store for two copies of my key and THEY WORK when I got home. It's extremely important that my key copies work, I need them for my son's to get in my home when I am not there and I am grateful. It pays to go to a place that specialize in everything they do and give you real dependable things that work. Appreciate the professional help and extremely fast service. It took less than 2 minutes to make 2 key copies.”

“Very helpful staff for non-trade people like myself. They have always tried to save me money with items I am buying there suggesting other ways to do things. As for the pricing I find it generally pretty far compared to other hardware stores or the Homeless Despot. They have a much much better selection than HD and there is always a person who actually knows what they are doing unlike HD. I have been going for years here only thing I don't like is the hours they are open during the week and only on Saturday until 2, can't blame them.”

“If you are looking for personable service you will find it at Sugarhill Hardware. No way could I have called or walked into a major retailer like Home Depot or Lowes and received the support ( that's beyond service) that I received from this family-owned business. I called, they listened and dispatched a well qualified family member to my home ASAP to correct a plumbing issue. I have never seen anything like it. Professional & serious about my plumbing issue in less than an hour my old faucet was removed and a new one installed. The price was soooo right!!! Thank you Marco (Dad) & sons Jeremy, & Marvin. “Great old school hardware store with knowledgeable and helpful employees. Been going there for years.Went there today, in the snow storm, to see if they had a pull string starter for my snowblower. After standing around there for about 15 minutes and wondering what's taking so long, the lady comes out with the part fixed! I couldn't believe it. I was expecting to buy the part, install it and fix it myself. All we had to do was go back home and screw it on and Bam it worked. You don't get that kind of service in the big box stores. And they really do have anything you'll ever need there.”
“I decided to paint my apartment myself and wanted to support a local business in the process. The people who work at Roman were WONDERFUL in advising me. They clearly were not just trying to make money and had a lot of experience. One of them told me that it's third-generation owned and operated and you can tell. There's no way I could have done this project by going to a place like Home Depot, where the staff can't help, the lines for paint take forever, and the prices aren't that much different. I called ahead to tell them what I needed in my own words I told them and they guided me throughout the whole process, I needed some lumber and didn’t know the measure of the lumber at all, one of gentleman at front took his time to show me the lumber I needed to make sure if that’s the lumber I needed for my project! They have a bunch of tools there and if you need any help, they are open help you! Highly recommended! Will be coming back for my next project!”
“Best local hardware store. Jimmy the owner cares about all his customers amd extends every courtesy. He is so knowledgeable about most home and even commercial repairs or installations that its a place you can trust. Anyone with an issue can get the advice and help to tackle any job no matter your skill level. Its well worth the extra buck or two for materials because you actually have someone that knows about the jobs you need to do and the materials needed. You go to home depot and all you get is a shrug and or sorry I can't help you that's another department”
