“I had such a great experience at JERE’S Hardware. I went to Home Depot first trying to find the right extension to connect my sink faucet to a washing machine, and honestly, I got zero help and a lot of dismissive looks. I’m very capable plumbing just isn’t my lane, and I needed guidance, not attitude.
I came into JERE’S feeling frustrated because I didn’t even know how to properly explain what I needed. Instead of brushing me off, the woman behind the counter actually listened and suggested I go home and bring back the faucet piece so we could match the threads correctly. That advice alone saved me so much time.
When I came back, the man who helped me (I’m assuming he’s the owner or manager) was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. We basically played Tetris with parts until everything lined up perfectly. He explained what each piece did and why it worked.
I got home, screwed it on, and it fit perfectly. I was genuinely happy and relieved.
This is the kind of hardware store that feels like family. Knowledgeable, respectful, and willing to take the time to actually help you solve the problem. I’ll absolutely be coming back.”

“Had an emergency where both my kitchen and bathroom sinks broke with two different odd parts. Went to 3 different hardware stores across the city where no one had even seen the kind of attachment our old NYC apartment sink came with. The owner here immediately knew the brand of faucet it came from and had the part we needed. Instead of having to wait a few days for the part to ship, had everything working by that night. A complete lifesaver!”

When I couldn't troubleshoot over the phone, I asked if I can bring the parts in and they helped me out without offering to sell me additional parts or services. “I needed motor carbon brushes and couldn’t wait for shipping. I stumbled upon this place and found a whole box of different sizes. I finally found the one I was looking for. The place had an old-fashioned hardware shop feel, which gave me a nostalgic sense of how everything has changed. Despite its small size, it had a lot of variety.”
