    “This Mexican family owned fruit and veg shop is essential in the neighborhood. They have an amazing selection of fruits and vegetables, Mexican products, houseplants (I've spotted a few variegated plants), and fresh cut flowers. I go there all the time for fresh ginger and tumeric roots. Would highly recommend.”

    “Not gonna lie, delis in Ridgewood make really good sandwiches. That said, Bryan and crew's sandwiches are the best! Even on the rare "off" day, they are still near perfect. Be sure to try their cuban and godfather sandwiches. Worth noting their vegetables are always crispy and fresh as well. my fav lunch spot.”

    “Special shout out to the store manager, Marlin I believe, my apologies if I got your name wrong - he promptly called shortly after I missed a call from the corporate office. He apologized for the discrepancy and issue that arose between myself and 2 other associates. He showed genuine concern for my complaint and ensured me he would make it a teachable moment — KUDOS to cooperate too - turn around time about 2.5 hours — unlike LIDL who never called me - after my encounter with Marlin I happy to say I will now return to that store xoxo”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard.     Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
