“Love this place compared to the one on Central Ave in Albany. Way less crowded here and it’s a lot cleaner. Large selection of foods which is great. I usually come every other week and every time it’s good! My only complaint is some of the shopping carts won’t unlatch. Not a big deal but it’s annoying sometimes”

“Very affordable groceries, I am so grateful to have this option in my neighborhood. The items are generally near expiration but they are discounted because of that. They always have lots of produce that is cheaper due to it being overstocked or near expiration too. They also have lots of great frozen items as well as dry goods like cereal. Shopping here really allows us to stretch our food budget. You can also find some interesting food items that you may not have normally purchased, but they are priced well so I end up trying new things. Definitely worth stopping in!”

“Really interesting unique pastries and chocolates, plus fresh produce. Quality beer and hard cider. Astounding prices— LOW. My only complaint is: what do you do if you don’t have a quarter for the shopping trolleys? Who carries change these days? And I get not having disposable bags but surprisingly I didn’t even see reusable bags that you could purchase… and the self-checkout system was pretty seamless but the one employee they had on register checkout was a bit languid to be honest; not very efficient. Overall, it’s an awesome store, I think.”

“Idk where to start! I wanted some authentic Spanish food and went to google and mi casa was the first restaurant to come up. Thanks to the reviews I decided to order a beef dinner for me and fiance with chicken and cheese empanadas and tres leche cake & OMG first I want to say how sweet & informative the owner was! Also very generous with the portions of the food! The dinners was delicious! Everthing well done & seasoned well! I’m so picky with chicken empanadas and it was sooo good! Also a 10/10! Tres leche cake was also amazing! Moist and delicious! I definitely recommend. Run don’t walk ??”

“The owners are very friendly. It has everything a normal convenience store has but also some extra groceries and a special indian/asian food section. There is a large fridge room with beer and other refrigerated products. Even when there is a foot of fresh snow covering the streets so that you can't drive anywhere, these guys keep the store open! The owner even kept in stock a specific brand of beer just for me that nobody else was buying.”
“I discovered this shop quite by chance and decided to check it out. To my surprise, they carry a wide variety of items,like women’s abayas,henna, men’s shirts, miswak,halal sausages, and other meat products. Their spice collection is impressive, and what stood out to me the most was that they have necessary ingredients to make shawarma at home.Also they have prayer mat,for different age groups.
On the sweeter side, they offer delicious treats like baklava and Turkish delight. I was also pleased to see a nice selection of perfumes. Overall, it was a great shopping experience.
Before purchasing, I recommend checking that the products are intact and confirming the expiry dates,just to be safe.”

“I stopped by today again and they had more stuff on the shelves. I got a couple things cookies and these they weren't chips they were shaped like onion rings but they were like cheesy poofs but they were made with Parmesan cheese and a sour starch. My roommate will eat those I will eat the yummy cookies. The person I believe was that the cash register is the owner of the store. And they have the newer system so you can get an email of your receipt which I like. They'll be opening a bakery with for Breads and stuff. It looks nice I can't wait till they have baked goods.”

“Food and prices are literally a steal. I can believe all the great food I got for the price I paid. The if your going to the Albany location which has more options then the one in Hudson but expect long lines and only one cashier. Took forever to get out of there. Always bring a quarter as you have to pay for a cart when you arrive. You literally can't get a cart without a quarter.”

“I am fairly new to the area and only recently thought I would give this local shop my business and am so glad I did!!! It is so convenient and the store is always neat and clean. There are so many great things I could say about the store but what impresses me most are the staff working at the front end. They are always smiling and respectful, both qualities you don't find everywhere. Last night I was coming home late and needed a few items and hoped I would beat closing time. I arrived at 8:50 and was still greeted with a smile when I arrived. When I was checking out everyone was friendly and kind and it just made me feel good. It is hard to find good help these days - might be because they are all at your store. Thanks to all the staff at the front end for always making my shopping experience a great one.”

The staff is suspiciously pleasant. The snacks feel cultured but affordable. You leave with a reusable bag, no regrets, and the belief that you are doing just fine.
