“I went in on Thursday 9/11/25 . would like to thank the young gentleman that helped me remake an A/C hose for my 1984 318 i BMW . I have to apologize. I asked him his name at least 3 times . Can’t remember his name . He professionally and courteously helped me rebuild a 40 yr old plus a/c hose . The challenge wasn’t the rebuild . The challenge was your staff member trying to decipher my lack of knowledge. He spent an inordinate amount of time with me to figure out what I needed and manufactured a custom hose for my 1984 318i BMW . Great job ! Great professional courteous service. Also , they made it for me while I waited !!”

“This store is an amazing local hardwar store with lots of cool houseware and decorations for holidays. Not to mention the staff is wonderful and helpful. When I first moved to my apartment nearby, one of the associates offered to carry a bench I bought for my balcony for me to my new apartment. I would honestly go there more often, if only they were open on Sundays! See, Sunday is my only free day during the week, where I don't have work and less likely to have other stuff going on. It would really help both me and our community if they were open on Sundays as well.”
“Rain dew is a great local store that remind you of the old-time Woolworths. They seem to have a little bit of everything you can get candy, hardware, yarn, toys.. they have it all. “I had such a great experience at JERE’S Hardware. I went to Home Depot first trying to find the right extension to connect my sink faucet to a washing machine, and honestly, I got zero help and a lot of dismissive looks. I’m very capable plumbing just isn’t my lane, and I needed guidance, not attitude.
I came into JERE’S feeling frustrated because I didn’t even know how to properly explain what I needed. Instead of brushing me off, the woman behind the counter actually listened and suggested I go home and bring back the faucet piece so we could match the threads correctly. That advice alone saved me so much time.
When I came back, the man who helped me (I’m assuming he’s the owner or manager) was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. We basically played Tetris with parts until everything lined up perfectly. He explained what each piece did and why it worked.
I got home, screwed it on, and it fit perfectly. I was genuinely happy and relieved.
This is the kind of hardware store that feels like family. Knowledgeable, respectful, and willing to take the time to actually help you solve the problem. I’ll absolutely be coming back.”

“For the last few days it's been HOT! But my window has window guards with these weird screws. I tried Home depot, Amazon, etc etc. no luck. I called Angelos and spoke with Jim, right of the gate he was knowledgeable and helpful. I was so hopeful when I got to the store. He gave me what I needed. The store had this home town feeling. Like y'all need to come here instead of those big corporate stores. You'll get help FAST. Well what he gave me worked and I successfully installed our AC unit. I highly recommend this store! “Went in to get to get a toilet but hubby hadn't used is card for over a year so it was expired. Self check out only but Susan was so helpful she walked us through step-by-step through the sign in online process. She was very patient for my hubby had a older model phone. I have an iPhone 13. Should have done it with my iPhone to start with. Lol. Karla was also near by but Even though she was making sure and helping other customers with try check out she also was very pleasant. Will def go back again and again and again. Customer service was an A+.”

“I gave a five star, because FIVE BORO TOOL RENTAL deserve it.
Mr. Chan provide great service, he had paitent working with me, he provide all the paper work to me, every thing was so quickly done with my busy scheduled. I rented the Boom Lift for one day and the work was not complete by my contracter. I told Mr. Chan my situtatuion and he was so nice to me, he had offer me to leave the Boom Lift for the whole week, with a great discount, so I can finish my painting. However I use it for one day, because I could not get accesst to the parking lot because of park cars Monday through Friday.
In 2022 I bought Pavers for my entire yard from FIVE BORO on 101 Avenue, Richmond Hill, and it looks great.
I'm looking forward to the future to continue business with FIVE BORO.
