“Great customer service that's for starters. Like any smaller store they certainly don't carry every thing that Lowes does, but they have the core basics and can get you anything you need if you're willing to wait for it. You'll certainly get more personalized attention with whatever you need.”
“I recently had an exceptional experience with Safe House Locksmith. Donald guided me over the phone, step by step, to get our safe operating and open. His patience and frequent check-ins made the process smooth and stress-free. It was clear that he prioritizes clients by ensuring the issue was something we could easily fix before scheduling a service call. I’m truly grateful for his help and insights. I highly recommend Safe House Locksmith and will definitely reach out to them for all our future locksmith needs. Thanks, Donald!”
“Your neighborhood hardware store should have just about anything you need to take care of things in and around your home and Mazzone ACE Hardware on 116th does just that! Everyone working there is so knowledgeable and helpful that you leave their feeling confident that you’ve gotten just exactly what you need. It certainly beats the corporate hardware stores, you know HD and one that begins with an L where help is hard to find and the personal touch is sorely lacking. I’m so glad that we have Mazzone’s ACE hardware to rely upon.”

“Moreland Hose Company has provided one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had while sourcing supplies for my company. Their professionalism, product quality, and industry knowledge are second to none. From start to finish, the team was courteous, responsive, and genuinely committed to helping me find exactly what I needed. The quality of their products is outstanding, and their expertise gave me complete confidence in every purchase.
It's rare to find a company that combines exceptional products with exceptional people, but Moreland Hose Company does exactly that. If you're looking for top-tier service, knowledgeable staff, and products you can rely on, shop with confidence. You will not be disappointed.”
“Worker was helpful and knowledgeable prices are equivalent to Amazon and Home Depot

“Great Shop, very patient and helpfull. I got everything i needed in less time for less money than going to home depot or amazon where they didnt have what i needed or it was out of stock. And whats more important is the Staff made sure everything i was buying worked together and i had all the proper grommets, lugs and comnectors for both the indoor and outdoor parts of my Project to avoid the second and third trips that are always needed at the box stores.”
“Personally i think we are lucky to have this store right here. Staff is great and knowledgeable and almost always find what I need.....and I don't have to do the big crowded Home Improvement stores !!! Pricing is fair and quality of product is great !!”
“I had such a great experience at JERE’S Hardware. I went to Home Depot first trying to find the right extension to connect my sink faucet to a washing machine, and honestly, I got zero help and a lot of dismissive looks. I’m very capable plumbing just isn’t my lane, and I needed guidance, not attitude.
I came into JERE’S feeling frustrated because I didn’t even know how to properly explain what I needed. Instead of brushing me off, the woman behind the counter actually listened and suggested I go home and bring back the faucet piece so we could match the threads correctly. That advice alone saved me so much time.
When I came back, the man who helped me (I’m assuming he’s the owner or manager) was incredibly patient and knowledgeable. We basically played Tetris with parts until everything lined up perfectly. He explained what each piece did and why it worked.
I got home, screwed it on, and it fit perfectly. I was genuinely happy and relieved.
This is the kind of hardware store that feels like family. Knowledgeable, respectful, and willing to take the time to actually help you solve the problem. I’ll absolutely be coming back.”
“Came in for a repair on my impact gun, the gentlemen helping me looked at it for two seconds, showed me what I was doing wrong, and gave it back to me without any charge whatsoever. Very honest, pleasant service!”

“This store is an amazing local hardwar store with lots of cool houseware and decorations for holidays. Not to mention the staff is wonderful and helpful. When I first moved to my apartment nearby, one of the associates offered to carry a bench I bought for my balcony for me to my new apartment. I would honestly go there more often, if only they were open on Sundays! See, Sunday is my only free day during the week, where I don't have work and less likely to have other stuff going on. It would really help both me and our community if they were open on Sundays as well.”
“His estimate was his price. No up sell. Price on the lower end of the estimates received. Reasonable, Showed up wearing a mask and knew exactly what to do. Finished within a half hour. Quality & efficient. Highly recommend especially for sudden occurrences (like when your handle in the storm door falls off).”
“Rain dew is a great local store that remind you of the old-time Woolworths. They seem to have a little bit of everything you can get candy, hardware, yarn, toys.. they have it all. Prices are great for a small local store. They even have a pharmacy. It’s great to shop local and support business in the area.”
“I bought screwdrivers here to change my brake light. I was working on it in the parking lot here because I don’t have a driveway. The team here must have seen me struggling to pull out the brake light panel, because Andy came out and so kindly helped me. He also found me a better screwdriver to keep on hand. Shop local!”

“I live in Queens so this place is a bit out of my way. With that said if I need a specific item I always go to them. They have counter people that know what they are talking about and always have what I need instock. If you want to save a few bucks you can go to Home Depot but it's very doubtful you will find people at Home depot that are more knowledgeable than the staff here. Time is money and if you have to go to home depot twice for the same project you are losing money.
Highly recommend this place and the staff is always pleasant to deal with.”

“For the last few days it's been HOT! But my window has window guards with these weird screws. I tried Home depot, Amazon, etc etc. no luck. I called Angelos and spoke with Jim, right of the gate he was knowledgeable and helpful. I was so hopeful when I got to the store. He gave me what I needed. The store had this home town feeling. Like y'all need to come here instead of those big corporate stores. You'll get help FAST. Well what he gave me worked and I successfully installed our AC unit. I highly recommend this store! Thanks so much Jim”
“A & D Hardware has a great variety of products and friendly service. It's a reliable spot for quick home improvement needs, though some items are slightly pricier.”

“I am a single older woman and like to do things myself. Every time I go to this Ace in Island Park there is always someone to help. When an associate asks if I need help they go out of their way to make you feel good and get what you need. If they can’t help you they find someone who can. It’s very encouraging to shop in a friendly yet professional environment. Thank you for holding onto good old fashion values.”
“I had been searching all over New York City—visiting numerous stores, both large and small—trying to find this unusually sized aerator, but no one had it in stock.
On a bit of a long shot, I decided to stop by NHS Hardware - Jackson Heights—and I’m so glad I did. To my surprise, the store manager quickly identified exactly what I needed and brought out a perfectly matching aerator.
I truly felt like I had hit the jackpot. After such a long and frustrating search, that moment was incredibly satisfying.
Professional, courteous, and patient service throughout. Thank you for going above and beyond—you really saved the day.”
“So kind and helpful- they really took their time to help me get the materials needed for a project, cutting lumber down to size and even advising me on how to tweak my measurements to cut overall cost. Definitely way better service and expertise than you will find at Home Depot!”
“The location very convenient if you work in Fresh Meadov, They have almost everything electric, lumber and plumbing.Few years ago they try to push price up then a lot of people resign to supply here,Why to paid more if you can get the same items 25% less.I been in store few days ago and was wonder price going back to normal.Good job .Especially nice to made deal with Isaak he know a lot about material he sell.”
“They were the only place to have xcg-50-400 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED They also offer DELIVERY FOR GOOD PRICE, I just wish they take zelle as payment in the future.friendly service , I support this business and you should too. there prices are very reasonable A++++”
“I have been going to Millers for 37+ years. Obviously, that alone, says something. Stuart & his son Michael, and the rest of the long time staff, are all wonderful. Pretty much whatever you need is there. Old time " service with a smile" AND they actually appreciate your business, unlike the big box stores. If you haven't discovered Millers it's time you did & if you know about them,,,support them with your business. You will not be sorry!! A great local merchant.”
“I accidentally placed my order at the wrong store, and there were only two minutes left before closing. The manager was incredibly kind and accommodating. They had someone quickly pull my items from the shelf so I could still get my order before they closed. I really appreciated their willingness to help, especially at the end of a long day. Excellent customer service—thank you for going above and beyond!”

“Hardware City is a small, friendly hardware store located in Woodhaven,Queens(Jamaica Ave.)run by a dedicated guy by the name of Tony, whose expertise is second to none and the other white- haired gentlemen is Richard, who himself is as important asset as you’ll ever find! This store has been a source of reliable products and has served this community admirably for well over two decades and counting! Thank you Tony and Richard for your outstanding service!P.S.,I’ve been a constant customer for more than a decade.”
“I needed pipes for a gas clothes dryer cut to a certain dimension which home Depot could not provide. An employee recommended Joe's hardware store.Joe cut the pipes to perfection and I was highly satisfied.”
