“We love Trader Joe’s but the new manager has turned a wonderful store into a treasure hunt without a map. Products are whimsically moved from one part of the story to another. The coffee to the middle of the store, far away from the coffee grinder, then after complaints, returned. The pickles far away from the olives. The oatmeal on separate aisle from the nuts and raisins. The beer that was varied regionally and internationally once took up a whole aisle, now has been reduced by 66% on a side shelf as an afterthought and sold mostly in cans. Products will be moved while the shoppers are in the store reaching for the items. Not all change is good or necessary. Do I really need to increase my steps by doubling back to look for item or should I ask for a personal shopper assistant?”

“Had a few heroes last week. 2 chicken cutlet and 2 Italian. The 5 star is for the heroes. Absolutely great. Top notch. Only item which could use some improvement are the salads. We've all had macaroni, coleslaw and potato salad and most times we all say it's ok. They were ok but I wish they were homemade. Nothing better than homemade. Again, the heroes are GREAT.”

Shopping elsewhere for meat along with most groceries,! Buy all our quality chicken at an organic chain now. Better prices and quality there.”

“I can’t understand why anyone would say this store is overpriced, maybe they want it free everything in this shop is cheaper than all supermarket nearby and far. We use to drive to Queens to buy our Jamaican stuff and it is more expensive there , so we started shopping at this store instead.It’s not a big place but you can get a lot of Caribbean items there . The owner is a very nice person and his family..”

“I had a great time at Lidl. Me and my husband got so many deals. I never knew that Lidl has its own brand on so many things in the store. This is our first time going there and it didn’t disappoint. The only downside is that their cleaning products are kind of sparse. Otherwise highly recommended.”
