“I had my complimentary oil change at the dealership where I leased my car in Canandaigua, NY on March 7th, 2026. On my way home from work on Monday, March 16th my low engine oil light came on. When I got home I tried contacting my dealership and couldn't get anyone to answer in the service department. I called up Mr. Tire in Ithaca and spoke with Chad Campbell and explained my situation. This was at 6;00pm, Chad asked if I could bring my car in within a few minutes and I said yes. They are only open until 7pm. When I arrived at Mr. Tire, Chad asked Tyler to check my oil. Tyler checked it and said I definitely had a leak. I asked what he could do and he said he could put it on the lift to see where the leak was coming from. It appears when the dealership I had my oil change at lost an original part and used something else it didn't work and caused the oil to almost completely leak out. The screw or bolt that fits in the plug was missing and oil was leaking from the filter and out through the missing piece. Tyler not only showed me the problem but then changed out the filter and added oil and fixed it so it no longer leaked. He not only fixed the problem but did it in a timely manner and had me out of there by 7pm right before closing. I was very appreciative to both Chad for getting me in so quickly and to Tyler for fixing the problem and getting me back on the road. I highly recommend Mr. Tire in Ithaca, NY for any car repairs or even just an oil change. They are top notch in my book and made me avery happy customer. Thanks a million to Chad and Tyler for a job well done!”

“I showed up first thing one morning with my 22wrx. I needed 4 tires x2 pads plus rotors and an oil change. All of them had helped in some capacity but Riley mostly worked with me, gave me professional advice and had me in and out and for a screaming deal for what I had done.
Not to mention I called the shop back with questions a few times and even showed back up to confirm something. These guys were always so quick to give advice and help me out with whatever I needed 10/10 would highly recommend!”
“The service department saved my life. That sounds dramatic but after having done a service at a different Volvo in a different state I decided I would go on a road trip for MDW. Little did I know that the service was not done right and it led to my car leaking the oil out. I was towed to Maguire Volvo and despite it being super busy and a long weekend they were able to get me back on the road. I am forever grateful to them.”

They’re very clean very respectful very friendly and long as you come in there with a positive attitude they will work with you and if anything is wrong with your car, they fix it right then in there and then before you come, they’ll wash your car before you come and pick it up if the rate was not just five I give them 1000 because they are very very very family and anytime I need my Lincoln to be fixed or somethings wrong. I know I could always count on them.”

“This is the best car service and repair place I have ever dealt with, including dealerships and non-dealerships. Hunt's Auto regularly beats competitors in Ithaca both in terms of quality and price. They also encouraged me twice to wait for several months with replacing brakes and rotors when dealerships encouraged me to do it immediately and prematurely. I have experienced them as trustworthy, fair and competent. Moreover, they do their best to accommodate urgent issues quickly. I don't let anyone else touch my car and recommend Hunt's Auto to anyone who listens!”
“They are honest and knowledgeable. (Recently diagnosed a thermostat problem on my RAV4 hybrid. They were getting ready to replace it and decided that the hybrid made it much more complex, and they were afraid they could make a mistake. They called to tell me, and recommended going to the dealer. Did not charge me for their time.) That's why we've been going there 25 years!

“Matt the assistant manager was awesome from beginning to end. Went in for a warranty ac replacement. They replaced my ac compressor but my ac still wasn't working, so they thought possibly a bad unit so they ordered another one and replaced it again. When that one didn't work they went above and beyond to figure it out but ultimately could not. They suggested a dealer would probably be my best bet at that point. They were nothing but courteous throughout the whole thing and I have nothing but praise for these guys!”

“On vacation over the summer, I showed up with mysterious sounds coming from the front of my car. It was my last day in the area, so was expecting the worst when I asked if they could take a look and maybe fix it that day.
I was treated honestly and fairly. They precisely and accurately diagnosed the issue and fixed it that day. The owner even followed up a couple of days later to make sure everything turned out fine.
