“The staff was so kind to my cat and sweet with her. She was very scared at first but warmed up to them. Everyone worked really hard to understand what was going on with my cat’s stomach and why she kept vomiting. They took her temperature, did her blood work, x rays, gave her fluids, an antibiotic, an anti acid , and she didn’t feel a thing! They sent her home with a can of digestive care food, an antibiotic, and told me to give her half a Pepcid every day. I appreciate how thorough they were. Great job. And my cat is starting to feel better.”
“Just had our first visit and I am blown away!!! My 70-lb bully mix, Ferdinand, absolutely hates vet visits and this is the only office that made him feel comfortable enough to even be touched. Dr. East & Jessica were incredibly kind and understanding, even when Ferdie started to act out which I felt so bad about. He didn't need a muzzle during the exam which was shocking because we've tried 4 other vets in the city this year alone, and none of them were able to lay a single finger on him. Dr. East & Jessica sat on the floor with Ferdie and were super reassuring with him the entire time. Even when he started to snap at them, they were so calm and patient as opposed to all the other vets we've tried who got offended and refused to try comforting him. You can tell they truly love animals and had my dog's best interests in mind. The ladies at the front desk were also so lovely. Would highly recommend to anyone on the search for a new vet, especially if you have an anxious baby like mine. I am so grateful I found this office - finally one that I trust and plan to go back to. Thank you to the entire RVCOC team!”

“I recently visited to get a USDA health certificate for air travel for my puppy, and I couldn't be happier with the care that we got. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Raquel and Dr. Nicholas treated Koda like he was their own baby to the point that he was given them kisses despite him usually being a little scared of the vet. Even though I live a little far away from this clinic, the trip is definitely worth it. Great service for a very reasonable price for NYC standards.”
“This is your go to clinic. I called and they got me scheduled for an appointment in 45 minutes. They are kind, caring, and nurturing. Dr. Chan is very humble and gentle. My kitty doesn’t usually prefer men, but Duncan very much approved of him. Didn’t get the best news today, but the staff handled his results with care and made me feel like my baby was in good hands. Highly recommend!”
“My dog Monty got scratched by a cat during our morning walk and so I ran him to this vet (nearest one open). Despite there not being any available appointments, they were able to get a technician to see my dog immediately.
The front desk people and the technician were very kind and attentive. I sincerely appreciate the quick response and understanding.

“My doggie needed teeth cleaning and there was a lump growing on one of her mammary glands. I wanted it taken care of so she can be healthy since she's part of the family! Took a while to get an appointment as a new patient I called a few times just to secure one. Once I got a consultation and saw the veterinarian (who is amazing). So I scheduled her teeth cleaning and surgery day. She's a very small dog around 5lbs she was a bit concerned for her. When I picked her up after surgery she was definitely not happy and snapped at me but I understood the ordeal that she thought I put her through even for her own good! Anyways, after a few days giving her meds and cleaning her wound she started perking up and acting like herself which was faster than I expected! Animals are resilient! I am so glad I found Juniper Valley for my furry bf because it's close by home and there's the beautiful Juniper Park which after appts (not surgery) we can go for a nice walk.”

“Was a lifesaver. I had a virtual consultation with a vet when my dog wasn’t feeling well. I bought through them - but found out it wouldn’t arrive until a week later and no Vet is willing to fill a prescription from another vet. Was so glad that Wespaw was able to deliver same day! Truly a lifesaver!”

“My sweet cat was not feeling well, and I just moved so I didn't know where to get really loving and supportive kitty care. I was also unable to take him in myself. My partner brought him in, and he was seen by Dr. Canales. I was on speakerphone as she discussed options, pricing, and follow up. Even though I couldn't be there, I felt so comforted and grateful that we chose this veterinary office. I am so pleased with her attention to detail, how kind and informative she is, and I'm grateful to have found the right place for both of my boys. I hope never to have an emergency situation again. “I never write reviews but this one is necessary! Dr. Pozo is truly a gem, she’s so warm and gracious and puts you right at ease! She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!”
“I absolutely love it here. I have brought my big boy Theodore here for a check up and my new little kitten Rosalie here for her first check up! I absolutely love this place the staff is very nice and Victoria is the absolutely the best. The new kitten WILL be getting spayed by her because I trust her so much. You can tell she truly loves and cares for my pets just as much as I do. I highly recommend and low key wish I could work here. ?

“After months of trying to treat my cat’s strange breathing problems and more recent Horner’s syndrome, I took my cat here for an internal medicine consult with Dr. Ferreri and Alyssa. They were both deeply kind and courteous. They thoroughly examined and explained the existing documentation + considered all the possibilities given my boy’s medical history. Best yet, they explained the reasoning behind treatment decisions both past and present. I found this last bit very reassuring (in spite of my chronic worries as a pet parent). If you’re in doubt, don’t be!! This is definitely the place.”

“I love Park Slope Vet Center. They have cared for a few of my cats over the years. They are compassionate and supportive. Always giving good advice without judgement or trying to sell you services. When our last cat was at the end of her life they helped us understand our options and gave our sweet girl a peaceful end to her suffering when it was time. I’d recommend this vet to anyone. They also work with many TNR groups which is so needed in NYC.”

“My dog had an episode one night where he was dizzy and staring at walls. We took him to the Tribecca emergency room. They charged us over $3K and t9ld us he may have 4 hours left to live because he may be septic. We then went to EVG and they said he may have rectal cancer, the bill was $9700. We then waited 2 days and went to Battey Park Vet, they looked over the results and told us he just had Ecoli. That bill was $120. Had I gone here first I would have saved almost $14K. Dr. Berger and Dr. Lopresti are favorites. Kobe loves them. This vet is like having competent family members.”

“Had a great experience here when my pup got an eye infection. Dr. Tello seems to really care about the wellbeing of the animals in his care- he gave thorough explanations about all my questions, and went as far as giving recommendations about changes in diet, lifestyle, etc. to keep my dog healthy. The staff were also very friendly and caring, as well. The clinic seems to have a focus on natural alternatives, mixing traditional and western medicines, if that is something that appeals to you. Overall, highly recommended!”
