“Today I went to the saf guard on Walden Ave in Buffalo ny. The man or should I say angel that helped me was Jim he was very helpful and kind. He should me how to use the new foot sizer and then explained to me what shoe or boot that was beat for my foot. I have literally no words for the kindness this man gave to me during my visit even though he had to go back a couple times to get a different size his goal to make sure I left happy with my shoes at my budget. This man needs a raise or even a promotion he needs to be recognized for the way he treats his customers. I will only come in when he is here. Bless you sir and many years to come.”

“WOW! This place and Ratcha Lynn is amazing! I’m so glad I heard about her and her place! I’ve been interested in Birkenstocks for the past decade but not many places sell them in person or if they do they sell very few of their huge selection! Basically Birkenstocks normal styles and colors! Birkenstock has a huge selection of styles and colors that I really like and want but I don’t want to buy them online, even from a certified Birkenstock store and not like them as much or more so get the wrong size! Also it’s hard to find men’s in store so that makes it harder for me! The day before I was going to East Aurora I was on Birkenstocks website looking up certified stores and her’s came up! I was so glad she was in the area! Ratche Lynn has a huge selection of them in many colors! I found the trail rated Tatacoas that I’ve been interested in for a year! I’m so glad I tried them on first because the trail rated ones run big! I normally wear around a size ten but with these I need a size eight! I read a lot of reviews online and many people gave them a bad rating because they run big and didn’t get the right size! I love them and they are great! I highly recommend them! I saw many other Birkenstocks that I’ve been wanting like their slippers and boots and I got to try them on to see how they are and what they are made for! Ratcha was perfect on selling them! A little hard but not hard enough where people would be like I’m out of here! Just like me when I sell items! I told her the names of the ones I like and why and she said that I have great knowledge on Birkenstocks! She thinks I should work for them or sell them! I also found some great socks that I bought and really like! We randomly talked about our birthdays and it turns out that she has the same birthday as me! What a world! I told her I will try to visit her on our birthday! Give her a try and you’ll be glad you did!”

He was very knowledgeable and was with me every step of the process. I commented to him that it's so rare to find this kind of experience these days. “Talk about a 5-star treatment. This isn't the kind of shop where you browse & choose shoes for yourself without any help from a store clerk until it's time to checkout or when you have to search high & low for someone to answer a question or check in the back for your size... I was greeted at the door, led to a chair, and spoiled, while Paul measured my feet, checked the stock for different sizes and styles, assisted me with trying on different shoes and kept track of my purchases while I browsed the store for more. Paul was so kind & professional. He listened to my concerns, asked thoughtful questions about where & why I'd be wearing my new shoes, and found me two sets of shoes made from high-quality leather that are made to last. This was my first visit to SAS shoes, but it certainly won't be my last. Like Paul says, "cheap things usually aren't made to last and things made to last usually aren't cheap!"”

“Updated review 12/2021. After another 5 years of dance, we still shop at Bailey's for dance shoes. It's hard to buy tap, jazz or ballet shoes without trying them on for size and proper fit. On-line (Amazon or Discount dance) is ok for accessories and if you are sure of the fit of your clothing/ dance tights and leotards. For shoes specifically we don't think it wise to Internet order. Going into her 11th year of formal dance classes, my teen daughter was excited to get her first pointe ballet slippers. A true ballerina! She was a bitty 4 year old baby ballerina when she started. We shopped at Baileys earlier this week. The young lady who waited on us was helpful. She brought out several pairs of pointe ballet shoes (the kind that allows the ballerina to stand on her toes - ouch) for my daughter to try. Each one fit a bit differently. I hope my daughter will enjoy her new pointe shoes and find them comfortable. The shoes, plus inserts and ribbons all came to $143 approximately. Not cheap. Dance, like any sport, has related expenses.”

“Initially went in to get my MIL a pair of shoes & ended up with 2 pairs for myself also lol. The selection was awesome. The clearance section had a lot of good stuff to choose from. The associates were continually working throughout the store to make sure it was well kept. The line to checkout was long but it moved quickly. I’m definitely going to fly back in to shop here again, my local DSW doesn’t have the same availability & variety.”
