When I first arrived to get an estimate on the hit-and-run collision to my front bumper, Fred was so kind and patient in explaining what exactly needed to be replaced, what the cost might be, and why. He then helped me to go through my insurance to get the best possible price, and filed the claim for me. I was already a happy customer and told my roommate about them!

After dropping off my beat up 2016 Prius, I returned a week or so later to an unrecognizably SPARKLING car! I have legitimately never seen her this pristine, inside and out. They fixed far more than I had asked - I came in for the front wheel cover because it was an urgent matter. Despite that gaping hole in my rear bumper, I was planning to fix that later as I didn't think it could be covered as the same collision (it had happened months prior and I was told by Toyota it would be nearly $2k to fix). I returned to Blue Star to find every single ding, scuff, and dent taken care of. I was like a kid on Christmas morning!!! They even replaced my rear bulbs because they noticed one wasn't working (which I was unaware of, so I'm glad they noticed!). They CLEANED her too, inside and out!! The crew did a spectacular job with a high level of craftsmanship. I was a bit nervous to drive her because she was so perfect haha. To top it all of, I wasn't charged for any of it. I could've cried lol but I was just frozen in disbelief! It is such a breath of fresh air to experience customer service where they genuinely care about you. “The best! I needed a lot of work done on my 2016 MINI Clubman S after having it serviced by other mechanics, I found this place on Yelp. The reviews do not lie. My car was leaking coolant, hood latch was stuck with half the hood up, and it rattled like a marbles being tossed in a barrel. Needless to say it needed a lot of work. I dropped it off on a Friday and was given an estimate for it being done by Wednesday the following week, they finished it a day early. I am so happy I brought my car here. It runs like its brand new. Everything was fixed and the guys here are professionals. They communicate with you with every step and get permission before doing any work, so that you're aware of the estimated cost and how long it will take. Richie is super nice and made me feel comfortable leaving my car, very polite to me and my so with special needs. David was super helpful in explaining everything that was being done to my car and when I wasn't sure about a service, he explained why it was needed. I did end up paying a good amount, but that's because Mini is basically owned by BMW and their parts are expensive. Even with that, the price I paid was more than reasonable and would've cost me 3x that at the actual Mini dealership. I had other mechanics charge me less and I got less service with the problem coming back or not being fixed for long. I will definitely be bringing my car here for any type of maintenance. Please show them some love and bring your car here if you have any problems. I also saw them working on vintage BMW like from the 80s and prior. They obviously know what they're doing.”

“If you need high-quality bodywork, go see Moe at New Prestige Auto in LIC. I brought my new RDX to him after a frustrating hit-and-run while my car was parked left the rear bumper damaged. Moe completely corrected it. The repair is seamless, the paint job is an identical factory match, and they used original parts. The car looks brand new again you'd never know it happened. Fast, fantastic service and done in a week. I use them before when I had my BMW lease and was totally satisfied back then as well. Outstanding work, professional and trustworthy.
