“I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Long Island City Veterinary Center for my two dogs’ international travel health certificates. I needed everything completed on a very tight, last-minute timeline for our trip to Japan, and the entire team was incredibly accommodating, efficient, and responsive.
They were able to get us an appointment right away, handled the international health certificate process seamlessly, and even got the USDA endorsement completed the very same day. What could have been an extremely stressful process was made so much easier because of how knowledgeable and organized they were.
Beyond being efficient, everyone was genuinely caring and attentive with both of my dogs. I felt that they were in excellent hands throughout the entire visit.
I cannot recommend Long Island City Veterinary Center enough, especially for anyone needing an international travel health certificate. Exceptional service, wonderful staff, and truly above and beyond care. Thank you so much for making our last-minute travel preparations possible!

“I was bracing for exorbitant costs for a routine mature lady cat checkup. Dr Ball was really nice, patient, and reasonable. She is also a very good educator and I think all pet parents would benefit from all her helpful advice and care. The staff, as usual, were kind and friendly. I was quite pleased with the appointment. “I can't recommend Symphony enough. The first time I took my cat here, we came to the awful conclusion that we would have to put him down, and despite being a first time patient, they treated him and me as if we had been a part of the Symphony family for years. Every step along the way, they gave me all the information with the perfect mix of empathy and pragmatism, and gave me as much time as I needed to process emotionally and think. They are also very transparent about pricing and understand that the cost of care can be a major factor in what kind of path forward is possible. A general check-up was $110, cheaper than a chain like Bond and with 100% more care and humanity in every interaction.”

“I have been taking our golden retriever there for several years. I have found all the vets and tech's to be exceptional. Especially with follow up. Our just had CCL surgery which if you have had a dog go through this you well know its a commitment for recovery. However, they (especially Patti M) have been great with asking questions etc. Ali is now 10 and we have moved couple times. They are the best care she has ever received.”

“Can't say enough good things about Prospect Park Animal Clinic -- we came here to get an international health certificate for my cat and the entire process was so smooth and easy. The staff was so helpful about scheduling, organizing, following up, and keeping things organized; and both vets we saw (Dr. Gerber and Dr. Silverman) were so kind with my cat. The prices were also extremely reasonable, especially compared to other vet offices in the city. Overall, my cat and I had a really positive experience here and I would highly recommend it to other people (for international health certificates and otherwise).”
“We had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Chan and his team. From the moment he met Giggio, Dr. Chan was incredibly caring, patient, and professional. Since this was our first visit to the clinic and Giggio has several health issues, he took his time to listen carefully, understand his medical history, and really look at the bigger picture of what could be contributing to his health concerns. We never felt rushed, and it was clear that he genuinely cared about understanding Giggio as a whole.
The nurse was also extremely caring, gentle, and attentive with Giggio. What really stood out to me was how comfortable he seemed there. Giggio is usually very nervous at the vet, but surprisingly, he wasn’t nervous during this visit, which meant a lot to me and says so much about the calm and caring environment they created for him.
This clinic was recommended to us, and we are so happy we found it. I would highly recommend Dr. Chan and his team to anyone looking for compassionate, thorough, and professional veterinary care. We are truly grateful for the way they cared for Giggio. ❤”

“I recently visited Lincoln Square Veterinary Hospital and wanted to provide a positive review of my experiences! The front desk was friendly, professional, and helpful. My new rescue, Moose, received a new patient exam and received his first month of flea and tick medication for free. Later that week he stayed overnight for medical boarding after his neuter surgery. When I picked him up he was happy and I could tell was very well taken care of! It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was well taken care of while I had to leave town. I was also impressed with how reasonable the pricing was, compared to other vets I’ve used in the past. Definitely would recommend!”
“I never write reviews but this one is necessary! Dr. Pozo is truly a gem, she’s so warm and gracious and puts you right at ease! She squeezed me in to see my two newly adopted cats when I found out one of them was given to me sick. She examined them both and prescribed medicine, taking the time to teach me how to administer and tips on how to keep the cats calm and how to prevent myself from getting scratched! She has since been very kind to answer all my follow up worry some questions and has also taken care of my dog. If you’ve been searching for a vet, I highly recommend you put your trust in Dr. Pozo!”
“I miss Dr.B we use to go here but unfortunately i had stopped due to him only being there 3 days a week and not every month it was hard I need a vet who is more available for my baby. But he was a great Docor I do call time to time with concerns and questions because i do still only trust him compared to these other vets I will be going back just he’s so busy he has the longest wait times and my boy can’t wait with other dogs unfortunately. But i will be seeing him soon and he is amazing with understanding the animals and the owners.”

- Facility is kept immaculate without feeling sterile.
- Very transparent pricing.
- Their “Fear Free” handling can really make a difference, especially for older or vulnerable cats that can actually get sicker from stress.
- Management and staff have always been responsive to even minor feedback.
- Handling of insurance is seamless. Never have to even think about it.
After 5+ years of having 3 cats at Heart of Chelsea (2 routine/healthy cats, one who went through an uncommon illness) we couldn’t be happier and have never been disappointed.
It’s a 25 minute trip for us, but easily worth it.
If you want to keep a healthy pet healthy, or have excellent, expert care for an aging or ill pet, I highly recommend Heart of Chelsea.

“We are beyond thankful to have found this place. We had terrible luck finding a good vet in Astoria, but we finally found it here with Dr. Gerber. She is great, so kind, and validates all we’ve been doing for our cat. It means a lot. They have other locations throughout Long Island, and you can’t go wrong with any of them. The chief veterinary medical officer, Dr. Coren, is fantastic and whip smart. We also commute to Huntington to go to West Hills Animal Hospital when we are able, to see him. It is because of these doctors that our cat is still here with us. I am forever grateful for the care and courtesy we’ve been given by Dr. Coren and Dr. Gerber.
