“I'm a very satisfied customer since the 1990's. When my knees, hips and feet are feeling painful, I'll walk into Threads and Treads, explain my problem they will find the perfect fit brand. The owner is very knowledgeable, carefully assessing the gait of the sneaker being fitted. I usually walk in there miserable after using on line retail shops or larger stores where I buy the wrong sneaker and suffer. I walk out of Threads and Treads happy and relieved wearing a new pair of properly fitted sneakers I can wear for fitness for months. I highly recommend this wonderful shop!!! Thank you! “These gentlemen are seriously the real deal! They all share a level of knowledge I’ve never seen before. While the technical side of the fitting was flawless, the experiential side is what really did it for me. The friendliness, the communication style, and the overall environment made the process as enjoyable as the results.
As someone who loves researching/understanding the technical stuff, this was the first time I felt 100% comfortable trusting a fitter to simplify the process for me. I didn't have to worry about anything other than hitting what was handed to me. Their services are unbiased, impartial, and worth every penny. There was absolutely no overselling, just honest advice tailored to my game and my budget. Couldn’t recommend enough!”
“Great for kayak and SUP rentals as Manhasset Bay is protected from larger waves and is a no wake zone. Great fishing for striped bass and bluefish.
The shop also has a great variety of fishing equipment and bait alongside clothing and boating gear.
Most importantly the owner, John, is extremely knowledgeable and experienced and always has great insights.”

“Had a great experience at the Nike store today. Big shoutout to the employee that helped me out and let me know they still had a few pairs left of the Air Jordan 11 Gamma Blue for retail price. Real sneakerheads know how hard these are to come across without paying resale prices.
These sneakers are definitely a must-have if you’re a sneaker collector. Clean colorway, timeless design, and one of the best Jordan 11s ever made in my opinion. Appreciate the excellent customer service and looking out for the customers. Definitely coming back again!”
“I meant to do this review from May 2024, i went to footlocker on Westchester Avenue 10472, the service was phenomenal, Janil Karar was such a great help, I went with one of my sons to get shoes, he went to the storeroom so many times until my son got the shoes he wanted, he never showed anyone frustration was just as polite and professional as ever, I don't get that kind of service anymore in stores, was refreshing to see that someone still have that great customer service!! I Highly recommend this store, the cashier was very nice as well!!”

Also this place goes by delivery APPOINTMENT . Maneuvering in to the docks is very tight but nothing out of the world 🌎 . I was unloaded in about 1 hour .”
