The next thing I knew she was coming toward me with the replacement part in hand…all this in 10 minutes!!!! I told Janique I would write a review on google. “The very definition of why we need small shops. Explanations of products and costs, above-and-beyond service, interactions with an actual human being. I needed a quick replacement for my Mom’s AC. Charlie (co-owner of the store) took the time to walk me through both the models and service including all of the costs. He was able to get someone to install within a few days. When the serviceman arrived and started the work, he realized that it was more complicated and time-consuming than originally planned. Instead of leaving/charging more/doing just enough, he took the time to do it right including making a couple of runs to a hardware store for extra supplies. Yes, this is how it should be but it seems this level of professionalism is in short supply. And because of this wonderful experience, the least I can do is to give this gem of a store a 5-star rating - and encourage anyone needing an AC, vacuum, rug-cleaning or any small appliance to make Brooke’s your first and only stop.”
